    Thought i would drag this up from earlier in the year to see how peoples predictions have done apart from Lenh191 needing to give ross lyon a certain "favour" there have been some hits and misses.
    For me 5 of the top 8 right (damn you bombers)plus hwaks still for the flag, Watson for brownlow although last 6 weeks with bombers getting flogged might cost him, Nicnat for mark of the year (taken some good ones) but geez howe has had a cracker every week, Colingo for rising star (missed that by a mile) , Franklin for coleman (lets be honest if he didnt miss all them games he would of cleaned it up), goal of the year (cant remember rioli kicking any that will take that mantle), (still love crameris running goal), and the big one NO COACHES SACKED, looks like ill get that one right at carlton are waiting for "there season" to be over before getting rid of ratten??

    Collingwood
    Hawthorn
    Carlton
    Geelong
    West Coast
    Sydney
    Nth.Melbourne
    Fremantle

    Premiers: Hawks :D

    Good thing about the 18 teams, top 8 now becomes more "selective". Wont see the full benefits until GCW and GWS ripen though. As for my top 8, the top 4 pick themselves, WC get 5th based on last season and the next 3 spots are the ones up for grabs. Other teams to compete for a spot in the 8 would be Essendon, Richmond, St.Kilda and even Bulldogs/Adelaide could challenge. No hope for the other 3 major teams, and the bookends will be obvious.

    Coleman: Franklin, 2013 - Reid (heard it hear first :p )
    Brownlow: Pendlebury (ALF are playing catchup, if Swan can win it retrospectively...)
    </blockquote>

    Happy about my predictions, swap Carlton with Adelaide and the only thing wrong there is Bulldogs challenging. Franklin to kick 7 on the weekend, Pav not to play and he'll win the Coleman despite all the games he's missed :D

    No one (apart from someone taking the piss) thought Adelaide was going to do well. Shows how even with a soft draw, no one expected anything because they had been so shit the past few years!
