Alright. I am going to extend the BL debate until Saturday noon. Anthak has wittingly forced my hand on this. So be it. I would ask every coach who is online between now and midday tomorrow to vote on the matter before us concerning BL. I did not want it to come to this, but it has to be done. I would ask that you vote with a simple IN or OUT. Any buts, whyfors or anything thing else will be counted as a spoiled vote. After midday and the tally is known you can spill any and all recriminations and buts. BL remains eligible to vote. Hope this is clear gentlemen. I have seen a number of punters reassess their views based on Anthak's withdrawal. We would all like Ant to stay, but the issue at hand is BL, not Ant. If the INs carry the day there will be a second towel in the ring. Mine.
I dont think I'm going to vote, but I may change my mind before cut off. I can't choose between TiB and BL, which is effectively what this vote is now
On the matter of BL - IN And I don't see this as some sort of choice between TiB, Ant, BL or bloody Willy Wonka. But mark my words, if this type of shit continues I'll be the next one resigning my team. I'm not in this competition for political machinations or the fulfillment of Machiavellian ambitions. If it is going to come down to factions, conflicts and that type of shit, then I go with a scorched earth policy with or without the use of Snoz's nukes.
Re BL or anyone else whose letting disinterest or ego or thin skin get in the way of a pragmatic and enjoyable league where men are men and sheep are sheep ... ahem I digress, goodbye, farewell, arrivaderci. It's not fair on the guys making the effort to keep things running that they should have to put up with that kind of lack of effort and appreciation of their efforts. After all, it is an honourary role. Please make the effort to make it less strenuous for them. They are trying to benefit us all.

Because he would like to start trading so he can get some of his own players. Cheers </blockquote> Not even midday yet Fitzy, but yeah, you can take it as a given. We are happy to welcome your mate to the fold just as we are sad (or I am anyway) that X has gone missing. Ask him to friend me and we will take it from there. The 1st issue will be is he happy with Mawson or does he want to change (he should look at the Mawson thread first). And thanks for bringing Lenny in.</blockquote> Pretty sure he wants to have his own team name if that's what you mean. He will friend you the next time he gets online. No problem
Just because we don't see eye to eye doesn't mean i don't admire TiB for his organisation and contribution to the ORFFA. I hereby hand in my resignation as i believe TiB will be a great dictator of this league for seasons to come. I outlined to chels my feelings on the situation it is up to him whether or not he wishes to share. Be warned there is a hitsquad from Namatjira heading to every corner of Australia to steal cars and leave them burnt out in the Avenue. Teams in NZ and Antarctica will be spared. Good luck with the insurance claims. Over and Out,BL.
Thank you for helping us draw something to a close that required prompt closure BL. May your hawks be the force in 2012..
I would like to share one comment from Big Lance, this being in response to my suggestion that it would be cool if Lance scores the winning sausage roll in the Grand Final. "I have booked my tickets and pray for that moment to come!!! And in my moment of joy and glory at the MCG, i will shed a tear for my fallen ORFFA Franchise." A generous thought from a man big enough to keep events in perspective. Now onwards and upwards.

But I am now considering rescinding my resignation - if that's allowed. I have been quite moved by the support I've received from from the fellow ORFFA coaches, both in pm and openly in the forums, and I feel sad about leaving. I haven't made up my mind yet and I don't have time to write more right now, but I'm hoping you can all put a hold on finding my replacement if that's alright. Cheers, Ant

So whilst I support your right to consider your options I also feel you should consider them with a view to rest of us, there is probably no huge pressure to trade in this period, but should you decide to opt out we need to source, educate and involve a new manager well before Feb 1 so they can trade and then draft with some research behind them. Should you decide to opt in we don't have an issue, but again, expediency is not a crime..
