Trying to finalise the fwd line. I think all options pose a risk however no risk no reward right. Lecras, Byrnes and Varcoe I believe all are in the best 22. Karnezis however I'm not so sure, is he vest material? Wondering if anyone else is tossing these names around and what their thoughts are?

Hi Fly, Ill got Varcoe in my team. He looks fit & if he does play off the half back this year, I can see him racking up plenty of points, and at his price, i think he is a bargain. I am considering byrnes or winderlich. At this stage i have winderlich slightly in front.

I currently have Varcoe and Karnezis. I just replaced Kennedy with Karnezis on the fact that KPFs can be inconsistent. However I will watch Karnezis' job security carefully.
Lecras may be a good option but he's more expensive. I'm not sold on Byrnes' scoring potential.

Think Varcoe and Byrnes out of those 4. I currently have both as there are a lack of FWD rookies. Lecras a bit pricey coming off an injury and Karnezis IMO just doesn't cut it.

It's a tossup between Frenchy and Varcoe. If Varcoe is indeed playing in the backline, he'll definitely be a good option. I'm not convinced by Byrnes either.

Just Karnezis ATM, but considering Varcoe (just worried about his ability to score highly). Seems that Karnezis spent last year building his tank in the ressies last year and is ready to step up to regular minutes in the Lions midfield. Black out should help his cause early as well.

Currently have Varcoe and Karnezis. It feels chancy, but if one disappoints early I can trade him down to a premium priced rookie if one of them lights it up in the opening few rounds.

After watching Karnezis last night I thought he looked the goods. He ran hard for link up possessions and was able to find the pill. He came into my team today. I dropped Varcoe out a week ago, Byrnes won't score highly and LeCras is a bit over priced.

You can cut the list straight down to 3 now anyway... The Frenchman has been put back onto the long term injury list... '...it's not a setback, we're just managing his recovery...'
FWIW, I have Karnezis and Varcoe... Both have at least shown improvement from last year... Byrnes has stunk it up repeatedly.
