Thought about posting this on the Spelunkers page, or in the trades thread, but thought it better to be here so it can go forever into anonymity if required
I am thinking about my upcoming delistments, and I have 3 confirmed provisionally, with one more yet to be decided. The last one I have a choice of a few players... so I am putting this list up here in case any of you are interested in any of the Speulnkers delistment candidates.. if so, contact me and let me know what draft pick you would be prepared to offer. I won't be haggling, so you get one shot per player... if I think the deal is worth it, then my delistment issue is resolved fairly easily... if not then I will have to chop later. If I get a draft pick out of it that improves my current situation then it is a win for me
The chance is here for you to grab a player from my list that you may be interested in, prior to the draft... of course you could run the gauntlet of the draft, but a) I might not delist the player you are keen on or b) someone may always pick them before you.
I don't want players (unless we trade 2 of mine for one of yours) as I am trying to ease my delistment issue not exacerbate it! I don't need draft picks beyond 4th round, and even 4th round is a stretch, but there are no too many places where you can potentially get two players for one draft pick!

I think you are onto something here Banditto and the Waikiks would like to add a couple of other players available for a draft pick or on a 'two for one basis.' My 'wrinkle' is that should a bid be received for a player (pm me, do not post it in this thread) I will nominate him as 'in play' and he will be traded in 48 hours to the team whose bid I deem most favourable (no correspondence to be entered into). A final note, there is no guarantee That I will delist any or all of these players, so now is the time to strike.
The available players: Brent Macaffer, F, 21 games at an average of 60 Timmy Sumner, F, 11 games at an average of 40 Matt (Goose) Maguire, D, 11 games at an average of 74 Tom Logan, D, 8 games at an average of 64 - but please review the footage of the finals series with his stunning 123 last week against the pies in an elimination final.

This is a very good idea Bandit - helps people fill gaps in their squad with players that might be destined for the draft pool. I've not got a lot of delistment prospects after trading and delisting lots of players earlier this year. The three I am thinking of delisting are: Rohan Bewick - 23yo Forward 19 games 61 avg Dom Cassisi - 30yo Mid 10 games 62 avg Tom Ledger - 21 yo Mid 2 games 58 avg. Messers Bewick and Ledger will require a little more than a packet of chips or fruit tingles, given their relative youth and potential for improvement. My best pick after my first rounder is pick 42 - just for reference.

I'll jump in here too. In a similar vein to Bandit, I am mainly after draft picks (nothing past round 4) Players potentially on the delist table for the Lefties: Carrazzo - mid 29yrs, 10 games @ 66 Grundy - def 27yrs, 22 games @ 64 Evans - mid 21yrs, 9 games @ 64 Saad - fwd 23yrs, 13 games @ 46

I think this is a great idea Now I am only doing three delistments but that could change to no delistments, as I have two that are retiring and that could jump to more, depending on what my Geelong guys do at the end of the season Adam Oxley 21 yr Def/Fwd 2 games played 16 avg - Gone Josh Saunders 19 yr Def/Mid 10 games played 38 avg Beau Maister 27 yr Fwd 7 games played 52 avg So if you are interested please put your most fair and reasonable offer forward

I'm looking for a round 1 or 2 draft pick so if you think you might want someone from my list for a high draft pick, shoot me a message.

As per previous comment in the trade thread - my first is on the table, but so is Foley - so I thought I'd add him to the list as well: Rohan Bewick - 23yo Forward 19 games 61 avg Dom Cassisi - 30yo Mid 10 games 62 avg Luke McPharlin - 32 yo Def, 13 games 74 avg. Nathan Foley - 28 yo Mid, 16 games (3 times sub) 71.5 avg (82 avg discounting the three games he started as sub)
