Just a heads up Len. The Nuffers v Guim match doesn't come up in the tsLeagues for some reason. Also the Nuffers have D Thomas as IC Emg but it didn't save him in the team part of tsLeagues. On a bright note the Nuffers are very pleased with career best performances by Petterd and Hampson (why didn't you do that at the Blues) and a big effort by Lester as well in a losing side.

The missing match will be a C&P error, not mine for a change, I'll let Les know :) The reason Daisy wont stick is we only allow 4 reserves, and you already have 4 without him, but you can change them still due to the rolling lockout.

    Probable line up for the Waikiks away game at Iron Knob is as follows;
D - H Taylor, McVeigh, Hibberd, Perris (oop), (E: B Griffiths) M - Fyfe, Dal Santo, Hannebery, Isaac Smith R - McIntosh (E: Simpson) F - Crameri, Burbury, Elliott, Matty Wright (E: Podsiadly) I/C - Sauce Jacobs, Duffield (E: Sam Shaw) As a real club man Lloyd Perris is very excited to get his first 'game'; guernsey to be presented by Paul Kelly who has flown in for another 'game and gig.'

Cradle Mountain Final Round 5 team
[span style='color: #333333;]In: Dustin Fletcher, Tom Boyd (new), Adam Schneider
[span style='color: #333333;]Out: Liam Shiels (shoulder) Lee Spurr (omitted) Jay Kennedy-Harris (omitted)

[span style='color: #333333;]DEF Nick Vlastuin, James Gwilt, Dustin Fletcher, Nick Smith (Lee Spurr)
MID Scott Pendlebury, Steve Johnson, Jack Redden, Dyson Heppell (Zak Jones OOP)
    RUC Trent West
FWD Dayne Zorko, Michael Hurley, Tom Boyd, Adam Schneider (Jay Kennedy-Harris)
INTER David Zaharakis, Shaun Grigg (Luke Brown)

Players in bold played last night.

Cradle Mountain had a great final training session in the lead-up to their critical Round 5 match against the Venus Bay Vultures which has resulted in some changes to the provisional team. For the first time since Round 1 the Devils have named four in position forwards, with the inclusions being number 7 pick from the 2014 PSD Tom Boyd making his ORRFA debut and Adam Schneider playing his first ORFFA home and away match since Round 2 2013. After playing the first four games JKH has been omitted, he will be given a full game in the Tasmanian Regional Football League after playing restricted game-time in the ORFFA.
Dustin Fletcher returns after being rested last week, taking the spot of Lee Spurr who has been omitted which results in 19 year-old Nick Vlastuin being the only Cradle Mountain defender not to play at least one match in the TRFL during the first five rounds.
After injuring his shoulder in the first half last week Liam Shiels delivered a commendable performance to play out the game and score 96 points. Due to his shoulder injury against Lovely Banks Shiels wont return until after the mid-season break resulting in a reprieve for Shaun Grigg who moves from being an out of position forward last week to take Shiels' spot on the interchange.

Thanks Len Boyd faces far tougher competition for spotsin the Giants forward line than the Devils forward line. It is a great opportunity for Boyd to get some AFL experience with Mumford on the sidelines injured. Cradle Mountain are yet to score a 50 in a game in either the forward 3 or forward 4 spots this season, hopefully at least one of Boyd or Schneider can reach this mark in Round 5.

Iron Knob full team B - Hodge, Burgoyne, Harbrow, Grima (Sutcliffe) M - Ablett, NJones, Douglas, Shuey (Mackay) R - Minson F - JRiewoldt, Waite, Darling, Breust (Puopolo) I - Griffen, Macrae (Goldstein) You have to feel good about your team when guys like Mackay (133 last week) and Goldstein cant make the squad. So many midfield weapons now with the emergence of Macrae much earlier than I expected and a strong return this year from Shuey. Hanley out hurts the backline, but hopefully Grima can be adequete.

You are right Jimbo, the Iron Knob is looking very strong. In a late change that will strike fear into your players hearts (or maybe not) our selectors have Substituted Luke Russell for Sam Shaw who had been the I/C substitute. Cue another great track from The Who - if you know what I mean. <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]D - H Taylor, McVeigh, Hibberd, Perris (oop), (E:B Griffiths) <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]M - Fyfe, Dal Santo, Hannebery, Isaac Smith <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]R - McIntosh (E: Simpson) <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]F - Crameri, Burbury, Elliott, Matty Wright (E: Podsiadly) <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]I/C - Sauce Jacobs, Duffield (E: Luke Russell) <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;] <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;]My boys will all feel better when we are back home and we can lick our wounds after the first five round saw us pitted against, in away games no less, both the Chooks and the Codpieces. I might have to get on that FIXture Committee and look for a better draw ....

It doesn't matter, Chels, if they played at home, away, or on the newly discovered Earth like planet. Even if you combined the Cows and Nuffers squads, they still would have won. Our hope lies in the great leveller, general soreness.

Darraweit Guim squad for the match against a rampaging Nunawading side:

IN: Eddie Betts, Jed Lamb, Jack Newnes, Luke McPharlin
OUT: Brendan Goddard, David Armitage, Ty Vickery, Lachie Hunter

DEF: Frawley, Walker, Gibson, McKenzie (e: nup)
MID: Coniglio, Cornes, Hill, Newnes (e: Brandon Jack)
RUCK: Nic Nat (possibly) (e: Tom Curren OOP)
FWD: Harvey, Westhoff, Betts, Lamb (e: you're kidding)
    I/C: Tyson, McPharlin

Darraweit players have been urged to get in and have a dip (and recruit some friends to play) for this round's match up against Nunawading.

Already Nunwading have kicked away to a very healthy lead in the early going thanks to Lester, Hampson, Lisle and Petterd. Hopefully the Blimps find something (a couple of fit forwards, and fit ruckman) in response. The mid season draft can't come soon enough.

Congrats to Jed Lamb, who will play his first game for the Blimps, and a welcome back to Eddie Betts, who'll play his first game for the year. Good to see Brandon Jack is the selection mix - reckon he'll be a handy player in years to come.

    Best of luck Andy!

Thanks Chris. The Nuffers have already been spanked by the Lilacs this season. I really appreciate your squad's effort to stop the Nuffers being owned by your family.
