is it just me, or is supercoach much harder this year due to the fact that the good rookies are valued much higher to start with this year. i'm finding it very tough to grow my cash cows or it just a lack of rookies bringing in big numbers?

I think we've been spoilt over the last few years with the sheer volume of quality kids coming through. When a cow was at the top of their price, the next one was lining up to be picked. Gold Coast in 2011, GWS in 2012 and then Port last year all had kids who came into the side, stayed in the side and scored well. This season the rookies have been much more inconsistent, (because, well they're rookies) which has resulted in slower growth and less JS. The sub has also been a big difference, with most rookies either debuting in green or taking a turn. This dramatically slows their initial growth.
