Not a great week for me: 1893 with Sloan C and Heeney on field (Cripps on the bench of course). Round four trades were Mummy to Blicavs (same points more dough for upgrades) and Griffen to Hannebery (if Griffen lifts his game that sideways trade may prove to be stupid). Bit of an off week for me I'm afraid. KK, MIller and Salem on the bench. Plus Newnes to Pittard was not the smartest trade I've ever made either. Sigh Got my fingers crossed CEY comes back this week (or soon at least) as he has a fair bit of upside in him in the short term and don't want to moo him for two more playing weeks at least. The Llamas trades so far this year. Pearce&gt;McIntosh not so grand and almost went Thurlow for Newnes a couple rounds ago but chickened out, and when H.Taylor (who has since spudded). Other than those 2, doesn't look too bad. Most of the Llamas missed points are from wrong captain/bench choices.

The Mummy -&gt; Goldy trade is an obvious reason why we don't sideways trade, whilst the Pearce -&gt; Smith trade in the backline looked great at the start, but has since fallen away. Cripps to Van Berlo looks bad, but it did allow me to bring in McDonald nice and early and he's certainly been worth it!
After much consideration, I think the best trades this year were to do none at all. Those who refrained from trading early, kept the likes of Mumford, Newnes, KK, Cripps, Pearce etc, have both saved trades and got those players still in their teams for the good scores that came. Mine aren't too bad. Brown getting the chop this week. Fwds/Defs are finished, but not the best backs. Still running with Cripps/Thurlow/Rich in the mids. Will probably upgrade one of them this week too.

Well 2000 points separate top from bottom. How do you stand going into the final stretch and finals? I wish I didn't trade once this year! But trading ablet in this week (after his 189 and in time for his 20) is certainly the worst trade of the year!
