Thanks mate. I think it's also good if you can put in the link to the YSCC site that most of us have got this from. Put it in under my comments here, so they get some benefit from the story! Noted though is the fact that you showed the end value of the players. Noted also is the fact that Blue Thunder got a good midfield in there who were durable and stuck with them, even though his backups were turkeys. He realised that it was lines other than mids where you made your mid season value, something we can learn from this year. Midfields may give you early value in cash cow appreciation, but after Round 6 a lot of them look very fat, and the fresh meat is really hard to come by. That's where you look elsewhere and find the players like Jaensch. I think also you've missed the fact that inexplicably, he had HENRY PLAYFAIR in his forward line.
What was his starting team? No point in showing us his final team as most peoples would have been the same as that..
Here's the link SKT - its a great read. http://yscc.com.au/blog/miscellaneous/featured/the-year-of-blue-thunder/
Cheers Nick.... On a sidenote you can all look forward to an exclusive TooSerious insight early next year.. "Big Test Icicles, the growth and expansion on the road to supercoach glory in 2011"

Blue Thunder had a couple of shockers in his starting lineup: - Luke Ball (traded out round 5) - Medhurst (traded out round 3) That said, he didn't lose money on his bad picks, unlike a goose like me who had both Tippett and Mitch Clark... A lot of luck ran his way, however, never needing to call on Shuey or JKT - ie. no playing emergencies in the mids for almost 20 rounds.
Nick put the link in but here it is again http://yscc.com.au/blog/2011preseason/the-year-of-blue-thunder/ shows trade patience is a virtue.
