6 rounds to go, 6 realistic contenders in the Brownlow Medal chase, with Pendlebury only an outside chance given his lengthy layoff mid-season.  Ablett & Swan continue to push pressure on Watson and Thompson, who have led for the majority of the year.  Swans game was an interesting one - and worthwhile comparing to Abletts record breaking effort earlier in the year when the Suns were smashed by 90+ points at the hands of the Pies.  Against Hawthorn, Swan had 49 telling possessions, kicked 2 goals, had countless clearances - and yet potentially not the Pies best player in a side that was overwelmed by the Hawks.

If Swan is to go back-to-back, Round 16 may prove the difference.

On top of the usual weekly votes, over the page Ill also lay down my current predictions for the All Australian Team.  No formulas this time, just good ol fashioned gut feel ;).
