Another week is closing out as we drift another week closer to the finals.

Let us know how youve gone this week, or, if youve gone poorly, how good what that KHunt goal!

Or yanno, if youve done poorly, and youre a Richmond fan- I feel for ya mate- struggled through a week like that last week. Certainly makes for a tough Monday!

    (Full review over the break)

    North Melbourne vs Carlton

Result: North Melbourne by 53, 24.5.149 to 14.12.86

Gosh, how good was Norths kicking? Actually, how good are North at the moment? Seriously, at their current rate, they are a shoe-in for the #8 spot, with the Suns and the GWS Percentage boosters to come.

A lot has to be said about their kicking though, it was simply deadly. Deadly in the first, when they strung 7 straight, and deadly in the third when they put on 6 straight.

Leading the was was Petrie. The star put on 7 big ones for a mighty 168SC. and was SUBBED OUT AT 3 QTR TIME!! GUN!

Wells did nicely with a 26 touch, 131SC. While Swallow managed to crack the ton with a 109SC.

Over on the Blues side, Judd starred, with 36 touches and a 159SC. Hes also made the villians list for a pretty disgraceful effort with Norths Patch Adams, deliberately ( allegedly ) dislocating his arm.

Carrazzo managed a 118SC, while Murphy picked up a 112SC on his return.

With only 7 tons scored across the game, their werent many villians, but a token vest at Gibbs for his 74SC, and one for Kreuzer for just 6 touches and a 67SC should do the trick.

    Heroes: Petrie, Wells, Judd
    Villians: Judd, Gibbs, Kreuzer

    Melbourne vs Fremantle

    Result: Fremantle by 34, 18.9.117 to 12.11.83

Fremantle went bang. Melbourne led the game for 3 full quarters. Then Fremantle went bang. Kicked 7.3 in the final quarter to just 3 behinds to run out a match that really could have finished poorly for them.

Pearce top scored for the Dockers with 2 goals and 20 touches for a 117SC, while Pav was again great, with 4 goals and 113SC.

Plenty of tons for the Dockers with Ballantyne, Mayne, Walters, Barlow and the late callup, Spurr all cracking the ton

Someone though, remind me to never draft Dockers again, with Duffield languishing on 40SC off 15 touches, while Broughton got himself subbed off in the 3rd for just 9 touches and 35SC.

For the Demons, only Martin cracked the ton, scoring a 119SC, bringing his average for the year since his re-callup to above 100 (and breaking my ORFFLs heart!)

Couch and his delicious DPP played his first game for the year, and managed a tidy 13 touches and 57SC.

    Heroes: Pearce, Spurr
    Villians: Duffield, Broughton

    Port Adelaide vs Essendon

    Result: Essendon by 50, 19.13.127 to 11.11.77

Just like the Fremantle game, it was a close game... until 3 quarter time. This time, it was the Bombers who put on the final 8 goals for the game (closing out with 5 behinds), to run out the game beautifully.

Watson once again, headed up the list for the Bombers with 28 touches, 123SC and a couple more brownlow votes onto his tally.

Howlett was very good with 26 touches and 119SC, while Dyson, Jetta andn Bellchambers all managed to crack the ton.

Gumbleton managed 14 touches, 3 goals (including the first for the game) and 89SC in his first game for the year. A tidy downgrade option if youre a betting man. I gotta say though, surely just about every football fan out there wants to see this bloke string some games together and make something of himself- hes certainly put in the hard yards, rocking just 23 games over his 6 year career so far.

Ebert top scored for the Power, with 21 touches and 131SC, he was a mile ahead of his nearest competition, in Westoff, who broke the ton with 20 touches, 3 goals and 103SC.

Personally, I traded in Maric this week, thankfully, Redden managed a 95SC to come in for him.

    Heroes: Watson, Ebert, Redden
    Villians: Dempsey

    Richmond vs Gold Coast

Result: Gold Coast by 2, 13.1.90 to 13.10.88

Woah, Richmond, at home, in Cairns? Just like last year, and again perhaps next year, Richmond have lost a home game against the Suns, one in which they sold away. Gunna cost them that top 8 spot for mine- but really, if you cant beat the Suns, even in Cairns, do you really expect to be hugely competitive when September rolls around?

Anyways, Cotchin was massive for the Tigers, 38 touches, 141SC and a lock in my squad next year Im thinking.

Deledio was great, with 36 touches and 139SC, as was Riewoldt, who managed 5 goals for a 138SC.

Ellis and Morris both knocked out massive games, in 88SC and 87SC, while "Premium" Newman languished away with just 12 touches and 56SC.

Over on the Suns side, Ablett picked himself up a goal and 33 touches for a 133, however the ultimate hero for the day was K. Hunt.

Hunt picked up 2 goals, including the winning one after the siren for a very nice 85SC.

Heroes: Cotchin, Deledio, Riewoldt, Ablett, KHunt!
    Villians: Newman

    Geelong vs Collingwood

    Result: Collingwood by 31, 17.8.110 to 10.19.79

Geelong had more contested possessions, more clearences, more tackles, 1 less inside 50 and more scoring shots, and despite there significantly worse accuracy, I reckon they were lucky they didnt lose by more. It really felt for mine that the lid was just waiting to blow off, but Collingwood just didnt seem to (or perhaps wer unable to) want to go for the throat.

Lots of tons for the Pies though, with Beams top scoring with 36 touches and 137SC. Up there was Shaw, who managed 29 touches for a 135SC, while Pendles, in his first game in 8 weeks (That long! Ouch!), managed 36 touches and 132SC. Welcome back lad!!

Johnsontop scored for the Cats with a massive 36 touches and 148SC, equalling that of Kelly, who took 38 touches to get to the same mark.

A pretty poor effort from Chapman, who could only manage 16 touches and 64SC.

Heroes: Beams, Shaw, Pendlebury, Johnson, Kelly
    Villians: Sidebottom, Cloke, Chapman

    Brisbane vs St. Kilda

Result: St. Kilda by 13, 16.9.105 to 14.8.92

Woah, what a fricking tight game! Seriously, the score difference was more than 10 points for less than 10 minutes throughtout the entire game, it was just that close.

Of course, it was St. Kilda who managed to fall over the line in front after securing the kicking 5 of the final 6 goals in the game!

McEvoy led the charge, with 35 hitouts, 15 touches and 145SC, while Jones did very nicely with 28 touches and 129SC.

Hayes managed a 127SC off 29 touches, while Montagna picked up 114SC for his 21 touches.

Saad kicked 4 goals in a tight game, but bizarrely, could only manage 60SC for his efforts, while Fisher was worrying. His former lucrative role going to Dempster, while he was playing a lockdown role on Brown for just 5 touches and 25SC.

Hudson top scored for the Lions, with 133SC coming from 23 touches and 31 hitouts, while Black managed 117SC from a 31 disposal effort.

Zorko, we love you. We love your 23 touches, your 1.2, you 8 tackles, and more importantly, your 110SC, you absolute gun.

    Heroes: McEvoy, Hudson, Zorko
    Villians: Fisher, Redden

    GWS vs Adelaide

    Result: Adelaide by 119, 27.16.178 to 8.11.59

Yep, the Adelaide Crows smashed the GWS Percentage Boosters. And Boosted their percentage.

Heroes: Vince, Jacobs, Shaw, Ward, Greene
    Villians:

    Western vs Hawthorn

    Result: Hawthorn by 72, 17.14.116 to 6.8.44

Honestly, Ive wondering how much the Hawks would have won had Buddy been playing- they just cut the Dogs to shreads!

9 tons, led by Mitchell who picked up 34 disposals and 158SC.

Stratton I though did well. Got on the end of a lot of kicks and picked up 115SC for 20 touches.

Still, not many large scores saw a lot of the pie spread around. Not to Suckling though. just 9 touches and 30SC for Suckers.

For the Doggies, Boyd was fantastic in his 200th. 37 touches and 141SC. Lake did well with 18 disposals and 124C, while Griffen, Higgins and Murphy all also broke the ton.

    Heroes: Mitchell, Boyd, Lake
    Villians: Suckling

Anyways, it looks like were open, so Ill get the last game up after I pull in these stats!!

Let us know how youve gone!!
