<p style='font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; line-height: 18px;]Well, it doesn't feel right having Sunday night roll around and not having a review post-

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]I couldn't watch this game because I was working, and so my review may be somewhat biased by my SC hate for all things green and black after what they did to my SC team this week. I make no apology for this. Port were expected to take this one off an undermanned Tigers outfit, but played like they were running scared. Richmond demolished them with a very big first half, and may have quietened a few of the doubters that have been on them after last week's game.
<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]
<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;] Jack Riewoldt (128) starred in front of the big sticks with five goals, ably supported by little Push Up Jake King (99) with 3.1, Chris Newman (125, 2.0) Shaun Grigg (71, 2.0). For the Power, Jay Schulz (124) kicked 3.1, while PermaSub Kane Mitchell (49) kicked 2.1 after ditching the green vest once again. Other notables for Port were Travis Boak (88) with 24 touches and seven tackles, and Brad Ebert (95) with 19 touches and also seven tackles. Bad news for Chris Knights (45), who kicked a goal as he did his knee. He was stretchered off in the second with a season ending patella tendon injury. Yes, another knee injury.
<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]
<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]Richmond dominated the SC scoreboard as you'd expect, headed by Brett Deledio with 163 from 32 touches. Dustin MARTIN (132) continued his purple patch with 33 touches, the Flying Dutchman Nick Vlastuin burst his bubble with a big 105, while Brandon Ellis (103) and Bachar Houli (104) tonned up as well. Besides Schulz, only Kane Cornes reached the hundred mark with 102 from 29 disposals.

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]GWS still a few years away from competing at AFL level, but all credit to the Crows for getting the job done. The big story of the game wasTom Lynch (157) and his 10 goal haul, six of which came in a massive 3rd quarter for the Crows. Sando will be hoping the big ginger ninja can carry some of that form into the rest of the season to help cover the loss of Tex. Other multiple goals scorers for the Crows were Patrick Dangerfield (147) with 4.2, LEEROY Josh JENKINS (94, 4.3), Sam Kerridge (121, 3.0) and Bernie Vince (96, 2.0). GWS multiples came from Jeremy Cameron (73, 3.1) & Callan Ward (104, 2.0). Rhys Palmer (41) was reported for an off the ball jumper punch in the third quarter that left Danger on the deck for a few seconds.

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]Rule Committee” lowlight of the game was Dangerfield taking a 1on1 mark in the goal square against Tim Mohr (59). Danger turned to play on, but as he dropped the ball (not wanting to give away a 50) he checked over his shoulder to see whether or not he had ‘pushed' Mohr out of the contest, as the Sherrin dribbled away. Once Patty confirmed no free kick had been called, he soccered the ball through for a goal. Yeah, sure Kevin Bartlett, everyone in AFL understands this rule perfectly… Ridiculous passage of play that had Dangerfield grinning stupidly as he ran back to the square for the next bounce.

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]Lynch, Dangerfield & Kerridge were best afield from a SC perspective. Other tons came fromScott Thompson (120), Brent Reilly (120), Matthew WRIGHT (119), Richard Douglas (113) & Rory Sloane (105). Ward was the sole triple figure representative for the Giants, who only managed six scores above 73. Zachary Williams popped his bubble with a green vested 23.

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;]Firstly, the obvious. All hail the Permacaptain, and the Melbourne Football Club are now very deep in the hurt locker. Just over 13,000 saw the Suns have their first win in Victoria, and achieve their biggest winning margin ever.

<p style='color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; background-color: #ffffff;] Zachary SMITH was probably best afield with 18 touches, 3.0 and 28 hit outs; netting him a massive 140. Campbell Brown (74) also kicked 3.3, while Aaron Hall (87) & Tom Lynch (89) kicked two goals each. Multiple goal kickers for Melbourne were Jeremy HOWE (3.3, 99) and Max GAWN (2.1, 88). Colin Sylvia (86) was one of Melbourne's best with 24 disposals and six tackles, but will be taking a well-deserved rest after throwing an elbow at Jared Brennan (116) and collecting his head. Chris Dawes (39) was easy to keep quiet in his first game. Hard to kick goals when the ball doesn't get in 50m arc.

Only two from Melbourne made that grade - rookies Dean Terlich (108) & Jack Viney (104).
