You might be talking about Jack Martin. He's also on the Suns' list. Played 6 games in the NEAFL this 2013 season and word is he'll be in their starting 22 for 2014, barring injuries.

Theres also Jesse Hogan for Melbourne, who played VFL this year. He and Jack Martin were both selected in the 2012 mini draft and were ineligible to play AFL last season cause of their age. Both Hot prospects for 2014! Jack Martin won Gold Coasts award for best NEAFL player of the year and Jesse Hogan was sitting 3rd on the VFL goal kicking list before he injured himself late in the season, missing the rest of the year. The injury is not too bad though and he was nearly a chance to play finals

The only 2014 thread I could find (honestly didn't look to hard though!). News out of WA is that Zac Clarke injured himself at new years (apparently in Victoria...), and will likely miss 8 weeks of training. Further news that Beau Waters has shattered pins in his shoulder, and probably won't be ready for round 1. Two players to drop down the radar.

Would think that Sandi's stocks would rise out of Clarke's misfortune. Never know, might see a bit of Apeness action
