Thought I'd start this one so as to not tie up the completed trade thread. Rules from pre-season auction period below. 1. All players or picks to be auctioned should be listed with a closing day/time. 2. All players or picks being auctioned cannot be pulled before that day/time. 3. No asset being auctioned should be the subject of private trade negotiations nor used as part of a bid in another auction, until the auction of the asset has reached it's conclusion/closing time, with or without a sale. 4. All bids are to be made in the thread, not via PM. 5. Stating a reserve, or a preferred return type for the auctioned asset is voluntary. 6. The reserve is not reached on any asset until the seller says so. 7. Once a reserve has been reached the seller has the option to adjust the auction length, but to no less than 48 hours, or the end of the trade period, whichever is the lesser. 8. As soon as practical after receiving multiple bids on an asset the seller should indicate whom is in front, any reasoning is optional. 9. All auctions are final and irreversible unless via subsequent mutually agreed trade 10. Remember, as per the rules you can only trade picks from the next 2 drafts. Get bidding!

    [/b]<strong style='color: #000000; background: transparent;]AUCTION -[/b]Grant Birchall[/b]

We all know Grant is one of the top defenders in the competition and in most sides would be the number one defender. Despite an injury interrupted preseason and recent ankle injury Birchall continues to average 90+

The Bulls are looking for a quality Mid / Ruck / PSD Pick(s) for the lefty.

No messing around auction to close Saturday 10pm EST

im not really a massive fan of the auctions, but I will use the medium to announce that any of my 45 Melbourne Demons-listed players I have are available if anyone wants to have a chat. Im sick of having so many blokes from the same team so id welcome a Docker or a Crow... a Swan. I'd even take a Blue! get at me!

At the risk of thumbing my nose at the already angered injury gods, here's one for you all to consider; as a package I'm going to offer up Paddy Ryder & Nathan Fyfe. Combined they're averaging 217.5ppg and I'd be looking for a similar positioned duo scoring similar points. The auction will close Sturday the 20th of June at 10pm WST (midnight AEST). Go your hardest!!!

You've certainly got the interest going, E-E. I'll jump in too and offer Montagna (av.117) and in the best form of his career, and Walters,av.96 in his last 5 games, and none of them injured....lol!

I suspect this isn't going to draw even 1/16th of the interest of Fyfe/Ryder, but the Smugglers are putting up some young qualityDefenders for auction Jake Lever - First round draft pick (#14), one of the few backmen in thisdraft to be rated elite by CD. Has already shown glimpses of what he's capable of with 95 on debut. Could form the backbone of your defence for many, many years. Jimmy Webster - Starting to warm into his career after a couple of injury set-backs. Will be a quality D2 or D3 in the coming years. After, in order: mids > PSD picks > MSD picks. Packages involving CIFC's MSD and PSD picks considered. Auction to run until 11pm (EST) Thursday 18 June.

I'll bid Sam Gibson, exp.mid with Nth Melb, av.78 this season and has played every game, for young Jake Lever.

Ryder/Fyfe update... Blanchetown - Really need a ruck mate, could be tempted by a Jacobs + Gray/Pendlebury combo Banchang - Sorry mate, no ruck offered and not really interested in the canadian Coolgardie - With 2 big time rucks on your list you could tempt me with a Mummy + Wines/Ebert/Jaeger combo Staghorn - As per Banchang witheven less love for Big Boy McEvoy Granted you guys probably won't want to part withmy suggestions, but hey, you don't get the highest scoring player in the game for an old vegemite sandwich ;) Plenty of time to go, auction closes Saturday night!
