Where oh where does the week go! It feels like just yesterday I got the stats up, and now the teams are about to roll!

Will post the teams up as we can, but until then, a few tidbits:

[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]- Casboult, Armfield, Ellard, Tutt all went to Perth in a 24 man squad.
    [span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]

[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]- Bellchambers is sore and will[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]'hopefully play' according to Melksham (Meanwhile Essendon promoted[span style='color: #292f33; background: #ffffff;]Shaun McKernan off the rookie list today)
    [span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]

[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]-[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]GEELONG midfielder has been suspended by the club for a week for an 'off-field issue'.[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]Motlop will not play AFL or VFL this weekend
    [span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]

[span style='color: #333333; background: #fafafa;]Belly out could have a bit of sting in it's tail.

Will be interesting to see if the concussed players in Bartel and Parker are named and play
    2. PHIL

Probably with option left open for late out.
    3. JPK
      JPK
      Eagles team to play Carlton:
      FB: Yeo, McGovern, Bennell
      HB: Hurn, Schofield, Sheppard
      C: Gaff, Priddis, Rosa
      HF: Masten, Kennedy, Wellingham
      FF: Cripps, Lycett, McGinnity
      R: Naitanui, LeCras, Shuey
      I: Duggan, Nelson, Sheed, Tunbridge

      IN: Bennell, Schofield, Duggan, Tunbridge
      OUT: Selwood, Brown, Butler, Lamb

...and Lamb isn't even named as an emergency!!!
    4. Tomster
      Tomster
Lambert! Glad I kept him. Does he go onto the field ahead of CEY, Cripps/Hogan, Salem depending on where you have him?

TUp: I will be playing Lambert on field
TDown: I will not be playing Lambert

For those few that have S Selwood, from the West Coast home page 'Selwood, who spent much of last season on the sidelines, did not recover sufficiently from the six-day break following the first-up game against the Bulldogs again suffering soreness in an ankle.' Not a good sign 1 game in.

This is what tagging Bontempelli does to you :D

Nathan Gordon will start as sub for Richmond and lambert will take the field.

coach has a lot of faith in Gordon playing full pelt for a half if req'd.

lambert will start on a wing and will see a fair bit of the ball as Richmond like his ball use. I give you a thumb up

McIntosh vs bonts will be the contest of this match. both can run all day - let's see who wins this coin toss

      TU: McIntosh defeats Bonts

      TD: Bonts defeats McIntosh
    9. Tylo
      Tylo
Reckon Ellis and McIntosh will start on the wings for tiges. Lambert is taking Lids spot in the team and will play fwd as he did in Nab3. Looked a little lost there imo.

i think it was only his second hitout since round 9 or whatever last year. not surprised he has pulled up sore. but as an eagle supporter we need him on the ground badly.
    11. Spirio43
      Spirio43
hard to see Lambert keeping his spot when Lids gets back unless he has a blinder
    12. TheTassieHawk
      TheTassieHawk
perhaps but an injury or 2 in the first month could open a more permanent spot

if you already have him hold on, and if you dont then wait until he is named for his 3rd game (ie round 4 or later) before bringing him in

    13. TheTassieHawk
      TheTassieHawk
disappointing for anyone that held on when he was named as a sub, but keeping him at F8 for a week cant hurt

3 quarters for mid 50s might have been 70 odd for a full game so a chance to average 50 plus even if his scoring drops against better opposition

Do people think Anderson and Gregoson will hold their spots ??

will Sicily or Dalgleish make the final 22 ??
    17. TheTassieHawk
      TheTassieHawk
does anyone know anything about lukas webb from the dogs who is an emergency

I noticed Phillips is an emergency for GWS this week rather than Downie who was emg in Rd1, so the chnaces of a dirt cheap ruckman playing anytiem soon take another hit
    18. stripey
      stripey
I dont think Anderson has done anything wrong, unfortunately he is having good impact as a sub but i think eventually he should move on the ground.

Especially for me, seeing as they're two of my premium midfielders...
