Neptune Island vs Useless Loop Virgins
    - Neptune Island boast a 14-6 record in Finals while the Virgins record is 6-7
    - a record equalling 3rd time finals matchup between these sides following the 2017 Elimination Final and 2022 Qualifying Final, both won by the Noahs
    - 2017 EF lineups and scores can be accessed at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=14&round=20&year=2017
    - the sides last clashed in round 5 when the Noahs defeated the Virgins by 170 points
    - the 11-4 Noahs upset the Glow-worms last time out and take on a 10-5 Virgins side that have defeated the Bucks and Atoms in successive weeks
    - the Noahs boast 6 straight wins to enter the prelim finals as the form side and will be looking to qualify for yet another Grand Final while the Virgins are aiming to qualify for their first ever big dance.

Walpole Woylies vs Mole Creek Glow-Worms
    - Walpole's finals record is 10-5 and the Glow-Worms is 7-3
    - these two sides faced off in the 2021 Grand Final when the Glowies knocked off the reigning back-to-back premiers to win their first ORFFF title.
    - this match shapes up as a fitting repeat matchup two years on, as both sides strive to create history as the first side in history to secure their 3rd ORFFF title.
    - the 2 sides last met in round 2 when the Glow-Worms held on narrowly on the Woylies home turf in an early season classic.
    - the 13-2 Woylies defeated the Atoms last time out while the 13-2 Glow-Worms rebounded from a loss to the Noahs by defeating the red-hot Dropbears outfit in last week's semi final

Good luck to all 4 teams !

That’s a massive tyre pump for the Noahs @TheTassieHawk but we all know how fickle this game can be (as our modest trophy cabinet will attest).
Libba’s injury is frustrating but at least not mid game for us.
Virgins also sweating on engine room injuries as Sidey plots his return and Stanley shakes of a niggle. A bit of depth to tap into for the Loopies but rucks are skinny.
The dees ruck selection will be crucial in determining which Maxy turns up this week for the Noahs and whether JVR gets a full game for the Virgins.

Good Luck on a fair fight @YAD69

The Virgin's will have Sidebum back for the this week against the Noah's.
They say the best form of attack is defense, Sicily, May, Cox with IQ will look to turn up the heat.
AstroNaught and Errol will bounce back from last weeks effort and McStay will probably step in if Stanley doesn't get up.

It'll come down to the Max factor and who's mids can get their hands on the ball. Hopefully it will be a cracker of a game.

Good luck coach @That KI Guy

If any of the 4 coaches can spare some time it would be great to get at least a few in round updates for both prelims !

Tight contest so far with the Noahs slightly ahead based on reputation.
    Noahs 0/0 vs Virgins 0/0

Surely anyone making funnies would be strongly considering mentioning the Virgins obvious lack of experience ?

A very late change sees Daniel a late in and Thomas become the fwd emergency. Fingers crossed that doesn't backfire on me.

Virgins jolted awake screaming from a black and white nightmare on 249/4 (62) while the Noahs call on the resident magician for a 92/1.

Unfortunately @YAD69 Virgins have brought a soggy biscuit to a sword fight and are getting fully rodgered.

    Virgins 626/9 (69) vs Noahs 785/8 (98)

@JC I have Mole Creek as only having Petracca and Reeves left - is there a player missing from your above progress score ?

Yeah I think I missed Josh Kelly, so add 100 to the Glow Worms for 13/1183 then, vs 10/910.

With the Woylies fielding 2 Dogs and 2 Eagles in the today’s first game they will be looking to build a lead so that Oliver can bring it home against Petracca and Reeves who hold the Glowies historic 3-peat hopes in their hands.

Eyes may well be glued to iPhones everywhere in the ORFFF universe around 4-6pm this afternoon.
