2023 ORFFF Round 11 (AFL 16) Following the midseason break the ORFFF will reconvene with 16 refreshed and reloaded teams looking to commence the second half of the season on a good note. These are the 8 scheduled matches Maralinga Atoms (9-1, 3rd) vs Useless Loop Virgins (7-3, 4th) - as the Virgins try to keep in touch with the top 3 sides Mole Creek Glow-Worms (9-1, 1st) vs Jan Juc Ducks (6-4, 6th) Walpole Woylies (9-1, 2nd, UOC) vs Nangkita Bucks (4-6, 9th) – the Woylies are striving for their 9th consecutive win, with their current 8 game streak tied with 2 earlier 8 game streaks as their club’s best. Port Lincoln Power (3-7, 13th) vs Neptune Island Noahs (6-4, 5th) – as the Power seek to win their first head to head match against the Noahs at the 8th time of asking Mt Thirsty Boozers (4-6, 11th) vs Drouin Dropbears (5-5, 7th) – the Dropbears young side have bolted into 7th thanks to 4 consecutive wins before the byes, but face a tough trans-continetal road trip to Mt Thirsty in what amounts to an 8 pointer in terms of the logjam for ORFFF finals berths Rutherglen Fugitives (5-5, 8th) vs Wedge Island White Pointers (4-6, 10th) – these 2 fierce rivals clash with the Fugs looking for revenge after being eclipsed by the Pointers in the 2022 Elimination Final, which ended their pursuit of a maiden crown. Heard Island Shags (3-7, 12th) vs Black Swamp 29ers (3-7, 14th) Cockburn Avengers (2-8, 15th) vs Macquarie Island Whales (1-9, 16th) – this match promises to be pivotal in the battle for the 2023 wooden spoon. As always midseason list changes bring challenges to those of us loading teams in TS leagues – if you don’t see 4 on field and 2 emergency spots in their usual places for each line please try a "clear all" and re-enter your team well before the Friday night round lockout to update your Round 11 side. Good luck all.

Even after 4 changes at midseason the 29ers will be struggling for numbers for Round 11 with another injury and another player dropped from the AFL in AFL Round 15.
Boozers concede. Can’t get any mids on field. Miller Guthrie Billings setterfield Jones all missing significant time.
getting into the Dropbears player's heads nice and early so they might slack off - a bold tactic there @leematty1 !
Dropbears back after the byes D - Darcy Moore, Florent, Stocker, Naicos (Mac Andrew) M - NWM, Andrew Brayshaw, Shai Bolton, Fiorini (Bruhn) R - Luke Jackson F - Zac Bailey, Sheezel, Rozee, Mitch Lewis (Higgins) I - Will Gould, Jack Graham (Balta) Will Gould done a sneaky, replacing Schultz
everyone is, refer other league threads with the same question Hope for it to be fixed tonight, post your full team or lions and tigers only as you prefer
This is ridiculous - how long has it been known exactly when this round starts? Can't see any reason why lockout wasn't set correctly days ago!!! Def: (Em- Broad) Ruck: Nankervis
29ers R - S Ryan neither of Sonsie or Banks makes the 29ers side or emergencies, it looks like lockout has been re-set so teams should be able to be loaded tonight and I would recommend coaches doing so whenever they can prior to the Friday night lockout.
I entered my team yesterday. All worked perfectly and my teams in there. Guess it was locked again today before the game started.
The 29ers have named a new look but under strength side for the clash with Heard Island @anthak with LDU and Lipinski returning to the “XV” alongside midseason recruits Holman, Hayden McLean and Ben Long. Unfortunately the 5 ins are countered by 7 outs as the “XIV” fielded last game becomes a “XII” with H Clark, Ollie Hollands and Jeffery all injured, JDG suspended, Davies playing VFL, while the departed duo of Lazarro (Boozers) and Bruest (delisted) complete the exodus. The clubs list managers are in the gun after 2 of the 4 midseason recruits in Daniels and O’Connor were unavailable for selection due to injury and a number of the remaining listed players play state league footy despite the club’s need for onfield reinforcements to reduce the weekly numbers disadvantage.
The 29ers became the 3rd ORFFF side in history to fail to break 800 and the Shags @anthak ran away comfortable winners in a contest that resulted in the scoreboard operators remaining well rested for the most part. How are the 7 other Rd 11 matches shaping up ?
fugitives look to have taken victory over the white pointers 1299 to 1166 give or take a few. @Bearfly
Round 11 winners were Walpole, Drouin, Useless Loop, Mole Creek, Rutherglen, Cockburn, Neptune Island and Heard Island by 16, 33, 54, 67, 129, 143, 223 and 343 points respectively. The Noahs improved to 8 out of 8 wins all time against the Power with the top score of the round. The Glow-Worms, Woylies and Atoms have now all qualified for the 2023 finals and have a tight grip on 3 of the top 4 spots with a month to go. Further down the Dropbears, Ducks and Fugs in 6th, 7th and 8th have established a 2 game buffer over 4 teams tied for 9th on 4W-7L but with 5th vs 7th, 6th vs 8th and 11th vs 12th scheduled for next week the chase for 7th and 8th may be much closer in a week's time. Meanwhile the Whales have firmed for the 2023 wooden spoon after a defeat in the match against the Avengers, sitting 2 games behind 15th and with matches against Mole Creek (1st), Rutherglen (8th), Maralinga (3rd) and Mt Thirsty (11th) to come however @Darran and his troops will no doubt be looking to cause some carnage and battle all the way until the season's end.
