Why are we changing the lockout rules mid finals? I thought it was first game Saturday for the entire season?
As someone who is unfortunately not in the running this year, I agree with @leematty1 that lockout should remain as the 1st Saturday game as it has the whole season.
The visiting 29ers 11/1097 hold a 360 point lead over the Dropbears @stowie 10/737 Black Swamp hold a 3-1 numerical advantage in the early Sunday game (Hardwick, E Hollands and Cowan vs Ginnivan) before the Dropbears bring it home with the quartet of NWM, Wood, Bolton and Graham with 29ers skipper Bontempelli then tasked with chasing down the required target to decide which team progresses through to the second last week of season 2024.
Unofficial scores have the 29ers 1434 comfortably dispatching the Dropbears 1108 @stowie to qualify for next week's prelim final against the Noahs.
The Semi Finals saw the Woylies and 29ers victorious, eliminating the Dropbears @stowie and White Pointers @Bearfly from season 2024 contention. Congrats to both coaches for their achievements in 2024 and no doubt they will be amongst the 2025 contenders in ORFFF Season X.
