Site has rolled over already and we are onto the AFL's Round 17 match-ups !!
With 4 rounds to go, I'd say the top 5 are all locked into a Finals Berth......6th thru 10th is wide open!

Port Lincoln Power vs Jan Juc Ducks
The Stony Ponys vs Walpole Woylies
    Drouin Dropbears vs Nangkita Bucks
((8th place 6-7 Bucks will find it tough agst the 9-4 5th placed Dropbears))
Neptune Island Noahs vs Useless Loop Virgins
((8-5 ULV is in 6th place, but are up against the top side, the 12-1 Noahs))

Sherwood Magpies vs Mt Thirsty Boozers
Black Swamp 29ers vs Rutherglen Fugitives
    ((The 6-7 9th placed 29ers should manage 13th placed 4-9 Rutherglen))
Heard Island Shags vs Macquarie Island Whales
((The 10th placed 6-7 Whales take on 15th placed 3-10 Heard Island))
Maralinga Atoms vs Wedge Island White Pointers
((7th placed 7-5 Wedge Island should have no probs with 14th placed 3-10 Maralinga))

FYI the lockout issues should now be resolved, so if this is the case please try to update your teams prior to the 145pm full round lockout.

    The 29ers 14/1251 lead the Fugs 9/662 @tyze1

Rutherglen have Ginbey, Salem, Luke Nankervis, Sholl, Michaleney and Lohmann to play on Sunday vs Hayden McLean for Black Swamp.

Virgins roasted with the sub on Naughton and Butters. Zak on track for a double ton!
Here’s hoping for a close fought second half.

Rutherglen have moved to 11/814 @tyze1 and McLean will be looking to extend the lead before the Fugs remaining quartet takes the field.

    The Noah's @That KI Guy finish on 1,314/15 87.6 to the Virgin's on 1,292/15 86.1

Capitain Neale nearly reeled it in for the Virgin's but it wasn't meant to be. Naughton will be out now so hopefully JVR continues his hot hand next week.

    Sheesh!
    Great game @YAD69
Noahs dodged a massive bullet to secure a hollow win. Club will be sweating on big Maxy’s foot this week.

Orfff Round 14 Review: Record-Breaking Margins and Madcap Mayhem! once again provided by Chat GPT

    Greetings, fellow Orfff fanatics!

The Port Lincoln Power soared to an incredible 1234, leaving the Jan Juc Ducks flapping at 992. Quacktastic effort, Ducks, but the Power was simply electrifying, setting a club record winning margin of 242 points !

Meanwhile, the Stony Ponys galloped to 1224 against the Walpole Woylies' 1380, proving once again that Ponys can pack a punch! Not to be outdone, the Drouin Dropbears climbed to 1442 over the Nangkita Bucks' valiant 1281. That's some serious dropbear dominance, folks!

Elsewhere, the Neptune Island Noahs nudged past the Useless Loop Virgins 1313 to 1290, while the Sherwood Magpies battled hard with a 1222 against the Mt Thirsty Boozers' 1271. It was a true magpie masterpiece!

The Black Swamp 29ers bogged down the Rutherglen Fugitives with a whopping 1308 to 1103 victory, proving that swamps aren't just for frogs anymore. Meanwhile, the Heard Island Shags danced to an 981 against the Macquarie Island Whales' 1165, showing that Shags can soar!

And let's not forget the Maralinga Atoms, who atomized the Wedge Island White Pointers with a 1063 to 1237 scoreline. Atoms, you've split the White Pointers right down the middle!

What a round, folks! Stay tuned for more Orfff madness and mayhem as we head towards the playoffs. Remember, in Orfff, anything can happen—and usually does!

    Until next time,
    Your Orfff Roundup Enthusiast

The 3 longest streaks continue with the Noahs registering their 12th straight W - equal 4th best all time - while the Ducks and Shags tallied their 11th and 10th consecutive losses - good/bad enough for equal 5th and 9th all time.

The Noahs have locked in a top 4 spot, while the Boozers and Woylies are now certain to make the finals, while the Fugs, Atoms, Shags and Ducks can now commence plans for the offseason and finishing the season off with strong efforts over the final 3 games of the home and away season.
