Andrew Demetriou says AFL wants two byes for players, which would require 18 rounds of 9 games and six rounds of 6 games. Say goodbye to the game we know and love called Supercoach! No point playing unless they up the benches to 3 or 4 and trades to 30. Even then it will be terrible!
Why can't they just give everybody 2 weeks off at the same time? I'm willing to sacrifice the traditional 'last day in September' Grand Final and also happy to have two footy-free weekends during the season in exchange for still being able to play this great game we call Supercoach!
