I've been planning to do this for a few weeks but have only just managed to find the time to find all the stats this week - hopefully I will be able to provide an update each week.

Stats for each player are as follows:

Kicks; Handballs; Marks; Tackles; Frees For; Frees Against; Hitouts; Clearances; Inside-50's; Rebound-50's; Goals; Behinds.

    ADELAIDE

    T.ARMSTRONG (NA)League: 13 - 10 - 4 - 2 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 1
(not the worst effort from Armstrong as he attempts to regain respect & favour from the coaching staff - more hard work should see him push for selection as the team struggles for consistency)
    J.GUNSTON (CD)League: 13 - 7 - 6 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 4 - 1 - 5 - 3
(strong return from Gunston on the scoreboard will see him pushing strongly for selection this week)
    J.LYONS (Gl)Reserves: 10 - 9 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 1
(Adelaides 2nd selection from last years draft showing some reasonable form in the reserves without being a standout - needs to find consistency to gain a regular league berth to enable him to push for an AFL debut)
    I.MARIC (PA)League: 2 - 5 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 14 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 0
(quiet day for the big fella as #2 ruck with the Maggies - needs to put in some dominant performances to force his way back into Adelaides line-up)
    B.MORAN (WA)League: 8 - 2 - 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 - 21 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 0
(after having a shocking run with injuries over recent seasons, the former Roo is starting to show some form & was the Bloods best ruckman in a losing team - could be a smokey selection to face his former club)
    A.OTTEN (SA)League: 7 - 6 - 3 - 0 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 3 - 0 - 0
(slowly regaining some touch after being sidelined for a few weeks with knee trouble - another week or two could see him pushing for selection)
    S.SHAW (Gl)Reserves: 13 - 5 - 7 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 1
(let himself down with a disappointing 50%DE - can't see him being a part of selection discussions until he improves his disposal & defensive pressure)
    B.SYMES (CD)League: 17 - 14 - 6 - 2 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 4 - 5 - 1 - 0
(strong performance in the Dogs hard fought 7 point win should see him close to a recall)
    D.TALIA (SA)Reserves: 11 - 10 - 10 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 4 - 4 - 0 - 0
(good to see a solid performance from the highly rated lad - this season is crunch time for Talia, the time has come to improve performances to match his potential - Crow fans will be anticipating a debut in the 2nd half of the season)
    B.VINCE (WWT)League: 21 - 10 - 6 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 0 - 5 - 8 - 0 - 2 - 2
(strong chance to be recalled after this solid performance in a good win by the Eagles - if anything holds him back it could be his defensive pressure which Craig has been critical of)
    S.MARTYN (WWT)Reserves: 11 - 7 - 7 - 3 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 2 - 0 - 1 - 1
(good effort from the rookie listed youngster - could see him rewarded with league selection for the Eagles soon)
    T.MILERA (PA)League: 12 - 9 - 4 - 3 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0
(rookie starting to put together some consistent performances at league level)
    L.ROACH (NA)Reserves: 12 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 0
(good effort by the rookie listed youngster only let down by a 60%DE)
    C.SCHMIDT (WA)League: 11 - 7 - 4 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 0 - 1 - 3 - 3 - 0 - 1
(needed to do alot better after being dropped - needs to work harder to regain his spot & to ensure he isn't relegated back to rookie list with the impending return of Callinan)
    J.VON BERTOUCH (WWT)Reserves: 6 - 0 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 5 - 0 - 0
(rookie from a strong sporting family in SA - needs to do alot more to push for league selection)

    PORT

    M.BANNER (PA)League: 19 - 5 - 6 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 3 - 5 - 1 - 0 - 0
(another solid effort at league level for Banner which should see him in the mix again this week - needs to take the confidence & poise he shows in the SANFL when he next gets his chance at AFL level - has the ability & skills to succeed at the higher level & is a solid in & under player which Port desperately needs more of)
    J.BUTCHER (PA)League: 5 - 4 - 4 - 1 - 0 - 2 - 3 - 0 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 1
(after starting the season strongly, Butch has had a couple of quiet games recently - continues to work hard & lead strongly, but just isn't gaining the possessions or scoring as well as he would like - needs to keep working hard to turn things around)
    C.CORNES (Gl)League: 10 - 8 - 6 - 1 - 2 - 0 - 1 - 1 - 4 - 0 - 1 - 3
(despite being the focus of much debate in the media & amongst supporters following his continual ommission from the team, Cornes continues to go about his business like the true professional he is - another solid effort without being dominant in a losing Bays side - had 3 strong contested marks but let it down with inaccuracy in front of goal & 67% DE)
    B.EBERT (PA)League: 13 - 8 - 7 - 3 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 5 - 4 - 0 - 2 - 0
(after an interrupted pre-season & a few minor injuries so far during the season, Ebert is starting to find a bit of the ball with the Maggies, playing forward & midfield - more efforts like the weekends should see him back in the side very soon)
    M.LOBBE (WA)Reserves: 13 - 11 - 7 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 30 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 1
(after a couple of league games where he struggled, Lobbe found some form & got his hands on the ball consistently in the Bloods 2's big loss - if he can transfer the confidence & form he found to league level, a call-up to take some pressure off Brogan wouldn't be too far off - just needs to put in performances like this at league level)
    D.MEYER (Gl)Reserves: 17 - 7 - 9 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 0
(a season hampered by injuries could be back on track if he can replicate this form in the seniors - but can't see him realistically being anything more than a bit player at AFL level this season despite some poor performances by some of his team-mates)
    M.MOTLOP (WA)League: 4 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0
(will be disappointed with his game this week following some strong efforts at both reserves & league level since transferring from North earlier in the season - his career is at the crossroads now & he needs to improve drastically to avoid being delisted at seasons end)
    B.NEWTON (WA)Reserves: 12 - 7 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 0 - 2 - 4 - 0 - 1 - 1
(the young Sandgroper is slowly building his fitness & gaining some touch following a lengthy rehabilitation from a serious ankle injury - highly rated & will be pushing for senior selection with the Bloods in the next few weeks, so a late season AFL debut could be on the cards if everything goes well for him)
    S.SALOPEK (Gl)League: 19 - 5 - 8 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 6 - 4 - 0 - 1
(worked hard following his demotion - although he got plenty of the ball, he still needs to work harder on his defensive pressure which is one of the reasons for him being dropped a few times this season)
    D.STEWART (NA)League: 16 - 3 - 10 - 3 - 0 - 1 - 9 - 2 - 3 - 0 - 2 - 1
(another dominant effort at SANFL level shows his ability, but needs to consistently produce the same at AFL level to become the key forward Port craves - more time up forward & less time in ruck would help though, imo)
    J.SURJAN (PA)League: 11 - 7 - 3 - 4 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 4 - 4 - 0 - 0 - 1
(another good effort by Surj only let down by a 60%DE - is starting to improve on his defensive pressure which has kept him down in SANFL - could be in line for a recall if he can maintain a strong defensive presence no matter where on field he plays)
    A.YOUNG (NA)League: 4 - 4 - 4 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 0
(after some strong performances at reserves level, Young seemed to struggle a bit in the seniors - needs to be able to produce the consistent reserves form at the higher level to take his game further)
    D.BASS (SA)Reserves: 10 - 6 - 7 - 3 - 2 - 4 - 19 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1
(the former US college basketballer continues to mix up his form, but by all reports he is starting to read games much better & has had some success at league level this season - a work in progress)
    T.JONAS (Nw)League: 14 - 7 - 8 - 7 - 2 - 3 - 0 - 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 0
(rookie listed Jonas is rapidly improving his game to the point where he could quite realistically be an elevation in the event of another LTI - 7 tackles, 4 clearances, 2 contested marks & only 2 ineffective disposals points to a much improved player to the lad that played in the opening NAB cup games)
    D.WEBB (WA)League: 5 - 8 - 3 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 5 - 1 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 1
(after having a breakout game a few weeks ago, Webb has had a couple of quieter ones - needs to find consistency in his performances & take his game to the next level)

Well, I hope that gives you an idea of how Adelaide & Port Adelaide's players are going at SANFL level.

As I mentioned, I hope to be able to have the time to make this a regular weekly post to keep everyone informed.

Update to this - Port skipper Cassisi is set to return in SANFL with West after recovering from fractured tibia & minor cartilage damage - perfect timing for him to get some match fitness this week & again next week with Port having R12 bye, enabling a return to the team in R13
