There's no better place to discuss finals footy than with like minded people.

Let us know your tips for the games, and who you think will take out the big one on that [span style='text-decoration: line-through;]last Saturday in September first Saturday in October.

All the banter, all the discussion, all the trials, tribulations, pain, suffering, and sheer ecstasy of finals footy. We'd love to hear it all.

I'll start things off by tipping Freo, North, the Dogs, and the Eagles this week.

Having said that, I'm now distraught seeing that Priddis is injured and will likely miss the game tonight

      troll...

It would make things interesting though. Maybe Gazza could get in his ear and say that its really not a bad place after-all.

But so well executed, with various tid-bits coming from different people/places- from the initial interview, to the guy in real estate, to the Suns following him on Twitter as one of two other non-sun players that they follow (The other being Jake Koloj)

      Great stuff.

Now we must say goodbye to the Dogs and the Tigers for 2015. They each put up gallant efforts, but were outdone in entertaining matches.

The Crows season will continue, facing the Hawks at the MCG, where I see the Hawks getting home by about 3-4 goals.

The Roos season continues at the SCG against the Swans, where I actually think North can get up and win by less than a goal.

Meanwhile the Eagles and the Dockers get to set themselves up for a pair of home Preliminary finals, and a solid tilt at the Western Derby Grand Final. Mighty proud of my Eagles, and thoroughly enjoyed the game. Not convinced that Freo are premiership material, they just can't kick a 'typical' winning score (all they do is hold the opposition to a losing score).

Western Derby for a granny. Wouldn't it be a grand affair.

Would be an uninspiring way to innaugurate a GF eve public holiday in Melbourne though.

Why? You'd all get a day off for two teams you don't care about!

Will mean central Melbourne will be completely dead!

a further shout out to anyone who might be interested in joining a new ORFF comp if we get one started for 2016

per the earlier blog we have PHIL, Illuminati, ViQBOz, Len, Anthak, Tyze1 and Bear. I am keen so that gives us 8.

If we can get 2 more then we have enough for a 10 team comp which would be a reasonable number in my opinion, and would be a point of difference to the existing ORFF comps

ORFFL. ORFFA, and ORFFU coaches are most welcome.

if you are keen then please post below or in the earlier blog by AFL Grand Final Day

Given my teams performance over the past 10 years, it's been about two teams I don't care about for a long time. :D

Doesn't make it any less enjoyable though!

I seem to be slipping here, or getting caught up in euphoria!

Last week we saw North head North, and send the Swans out in straight sets. The now get to take a trip West to take on my Mighty Eagles!

Meanwhile Adelaide headed back to the MCG to take on the Hurting Hawks, and were comprehensively beaten in Dangers last game for them. This now sees the Hawks return to Subi, hoping for a better performance than their last trip West.

My tips this week are the Hawks in a low-scoring one on Friday night (Freo are involved, it can't be a high-scoring game), and the Eagles to easily account for the 8th-placed Roos.
