<p class='western]Brendan Whitecross (DEF)
<p class='western]You don't need to be an expert Fantasy coach to realise just why Brendan Whitecross'price has been so dramatically cut this season. On the back of two ACL injuries, the most recent of which kept the defender sidelined throughout the entire 2014 season, Whitecross is heading into the new season with a point to prove. As long as he can stay free from injury, there is no denyingthe fact that the 25-year-old's price could significantly increase.
<p class='western]
<p class='western]Jordan Lewis (MID)
<p class='western]The year of 2014 was somethingof a breakthrough season for Jordan Lewis in terms ofhisfantasy points. The midfielder racked up an incredible 110 point average throughout an impressive 21 game season, including monster scores of 144, 156, 108 and 149 across the fantasy finals. The 28-year-old might set you back $550,000, but Lewis is all but guaranteed to be one of the Hawks' most important players this year. That gives him every chance to try and get close to the same sort of fantasy figures he was reaching last season.
<p class='western]
<p class='western]Luke Hodge (DEF/MID)
<p class='western]There is a very good reason why Luke Hodge is the most expensive fantasy defender after such a sensational 2014 campaign. The Hawks skipper is one of the most prolific and consistent fantasy players in the AF. His prolific points scoringis testament to not only his dual-position status but also to theridiculous statshe has continuedto record throughout his career. After averaging 97.2 points in 2014, Hodge could have a real chance of breaking that 100-point average barrier for the second time in his career if he can stay injury free.
<p class='western]
<p class='western]Alex Woodward(MID)
<p class='western]It's been a long road to the top for Alex Woodward after overcoming two serious knee injuries over the past three years. Last season saw the youngster play his first full campaign of senior football and the Hawks saw just what the midfielder can do when fully fit. An incredible season for Box Hill in the VFL saw Woodwardawarded the Liston Medalafter racking up a phenomenal average of 23 disposals during the year. Now in the mix for a starting spot with the Hawks, there are more than a few fantasy fans cottoning on to the fact that Woodward could be one of those excellent budget signings.
