<div>
This week looks to be a tough one for trading in SuperCoach, with a surprising lack of options all around and the byes taking their toll on many teams already. There are only 4 available forwards averaging over 90 this week for example, and only 2 rookies on the bubble, so some lateral thinking and more than a few risks may well be required.
Thankfully however, the first bye is over. This brings Collingwood, Geelong and Gold Coast players back into contention for the week, and gives us our Best Buy in Dane Swan. Swanny started poorly this year before re-finding form, but then had a bit of a downer again last game. With his bye out of the way now though, and having had a bit of a spell, we're expecting him to come out firing and finish out the year in top form. Priced as cheaply as you're likely to find him and a fantasy superstar, it will take a brave coach to leave him out of their considerations.

DEFENSE
ROOKIES
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Joel Tippett (NM) DEF 123.9k 41 +21k
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Tippett is one of only two rookies on the bubble this week, and with an average of 41 he isn't incredibly appealing. However with minimal options around and the timing of the byes this year, he could still be worth considering if he can continue to get games. Only looking at a 20 grand rice rise this week however, most coaches wouldn't suffer too much by waiting for next week to see if there are any better options.
MID-PRICERS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Cale Hooker (ESS) DEF 472.6k 101
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Hooker continues to excel this season, now averaging 101 at a price of around 470 grand. Still a serious POD, with only 11,000 selections so far, his scoring ability has gone up a level this season and he is amongst the leading defenders at this stage in the year.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Michael Johnson (FRE) DEF 496.7k 98
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Johnson makes the cut this week due to the lack of general options. Averaging 98 so far and priced just under 500 grand he appears to be about right on that front, and with 9,000 picks to date isn't too popular yet. Never a prolific scorer Johnson can consistently score well but has a relatively low ceiling.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Brodie Smith (ADE) DEF 446.1k 96
Smith makes the cut this week after a big 138 in his last game, which brought his seasons average up to 96 and his price to a touch under 450 grand. The Crows have been a bit up and down this year, as have a fair few of their players, but with only 3,000 picks to his name Smith has some great POD potential if only he can keep his scores up over the 100.
PREMIUMS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jarrad McVeigh (SYD) D/M 572.1k 108
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]McVeigh is now among the most popular players this season, with almost 80,000 selections his 131 in the last round made many of his new coaches happy they made the trade. Averaging 108 for the year to date and looking at a price rise of around 10 grand this week McVeigh is in great form and showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jimmy Bartel (GEE) D/M 531.1k 104
Bartel is set to lose around 3 grand this week, but again with a general lack of options this week he's made the cut into the Best Buys once again. A 4th quarter specialist Abrtel can go huge when the game is on the line but has a habit of disappearing in big wins. Averaging 104 and sitting in around 65,000 sides Jimmy is one of the more popular picks this year and with good reason.

MIDFIELD
ROOKIES
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Blake Acres (StK) MID 127.3k 75 +65k
Acres impressed in his last outing on Monday, scoring well before being subbed off just short of cracking the ton. Assuming he was subbed off for positional needs he will be a very popular pick this week, as he is only the second rookie on the bubble this round. Averaging 75 and looking at a 65 grand price rise just makes him all the more appealing.
MID-PRICERS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jobe Watson (ESS) MID 532.8k 112
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jobe bounced back to form with a massive 158 on the weekend, which is expected to bring with it a price rise of around 13 grand this week. Priced well for his potential Watson is now averaging 112 for the year and sitting in around 60,000 sides, but many will avoid him this week due to the upcoming bye.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Brendon Goddard (ESS) MID 465.6k 98
BJ has returned to his previous levels of output with a solid 117 on the weekend, after an early season injury caused him to sit a couple of games out. Priced at a bargain basement 465 grand and averaging 98 for the year BJ and his 6,000 coaches could make for a very sneaky POD to be shuffled onto the bench for cover later in the season when teams are fully upgraded. Looking at a price rise around 25 grand this week.
PREMIUMS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Nathan Fyfe (FRE) MID 601k 122
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Fyfe came into contention for many SC sides over the weekend, pumping out a 141 to bring his average u to 122 for the year so far. With around 36,000 picks and a minimal price rise of about 6 grand this week Fyfe is another one that coaches may hold off on, but the points he could bring this week may well give the adventurous coaches out there a nice scoring boost for the round.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Josh P Kennedy (SYD) MID 610.9k 120
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]There were a slew of big scores over the weekend coming from previous fantasy favourites, and JPK was certainly one of those. A 153 from him brought his season's average up to 120, which is especially promising when you consider he has only 12,000 selections to his name. A POD with a high ceiling JPK will likely find his way into a fair few more teams this year, but the majority will again wait until after his bye.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Tom Rockliff (BRI) MID 586k 119
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Rocky has been in excellent form so far this year, missing early on with suspension he has been solid since then, and is now averaging a very healthy 119 for the season after a 133 on the weekend. Around 19,000 coaches have backed him in so far, but you can expect that number to drastically increase over the coming weeks.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Nick Dal Santo (NM) MID 553.8k 113
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Nicky Dal was largely overlooked this year, with questions around a new teams and role making many coaches wary. So far these doubts have been unfounded, with the classy Roo averaging 113 for his 10,000 coaches and looking at a small price rise of around 9 grand this week. North will need to step up a level if they are to be contenders this season, and Dal is the man to lead them.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Kieren Jack (SYD) MID 565.6k 106
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jack has been a bit like the Sydney side in general this year, up and down but up more often. Averaging 106 for the season to date and priced at 565 grand he is a little more expensive than his average but certainly has the potential to improve. Only in around 7,000 sides so far Jack has solid POD value, and has the ceiling to make to risk worthwhile.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Daniel Hannebery (SYD) MID 566.2k 105
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Hannebery is another Swan to be up and down, a bit of a theme this season, and showcased this on the weekend with a massive 159. With only 5,000 picks to his name and a price just topping Jack's Hanners is an excellent POD and along with the rest of the Swans will be looking for an improved remainder of the season.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Dane Swan (COL) MID 564.6k 99
Swanny started the year slowly this year, but after a recent return to form, which was limited in how many new selections it garnered by the upcoming byes, he's back in contention for the majority of teams. While not excelling in his last outing Swan should be better from the rest, and is still averaging 99 for the year. Priced at just under 565 grand and with around 32,000 selection, this may well be the closest he'll get to a POD in a long time.

RUCK
MID-PRICERS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Mark Jamar (MEL) RUC 457.3k 112
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jamar continued on with his new-found form on the weekend, keeping his average at 112 and giving him a price rise around the 35 grand mark this week. Still priced well at under 460 grand and with only around 4,000 picks so far he meets all the criteria for a POD, but his scoring history over the past few years indicates that this is likely a purple patch that he will struggle to maintain.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Billy Longer (StK) RUC 299.4k 71
With Hickey out, and McEvoy being moved on before the season, the Saints are running terminally low on ruckman. Longer has now taken the number one ruck mantle, for the time being, and with a score of 96 against the Blues showed he is capable of handling the strain. Averaging 71 for the year but priced very well at just below 300 grand Longer is the definition of high risk, but will be needed on the park as long as he can stay uninjured.
PREMIUMS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Sam Jacobs (ADE) RUC 511.8k 104
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Sauce continues to bounce back after a poor year in 2013, averaging 104 for the season and bringing his price to just over 510 grand. Now sitting in around 25,000 sides the big man has all the skills to be an elite ruckman, but has so far lacked execution. Surprisingly one of the more consistent ruck choices for the season.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Patrick Ryder (ESS) RUC 524.3k 103
Ryder came back to form in a big way in his last game, smashing a 152 to bring his season's average up to 103 so far. Priced at 525 grand and facing a 20 grand increase this week the return of Bellchambers may still have an impact on his scoring but if Ryder can stay on the park from here on out he should at least be a worthwhile selection.

<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Paul Chapman (ESS) M/F 451.1k 97 ** NOTE SUSPENDED - HOLD OFF TO RD 11 **
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Chappy sneaks into the Best Buys this week on the back of a serious slump in available forwards around the league this week. Averaging 97 and priced at just 450 grand he offers excellent value, and could be very valuable cover later in the season as a M/F capable of scoring tons with ease. With around 33,000 selections so far Chappy isn't a huge POD, but could well give his coaches the advantage this week.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Josh Jenkins (ADE) FWD 427.2k 90
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Given the previously mentioned lack of forward options this week, we've had to go outside the square and look at JJ. Averaging 90 for the season he is one of only 4 available forwards this week who is averaging over 90, yes 4, but priced at under 430 grand which gives him some value at the least. Never a prolific scorer but a player who has stepped up this season, JJ and his 3,000 coaches will be hoping he can continue to improve.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
PREMIUMS
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Luke Parker (SYD) M/F 516.4k 103
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Parker is far and away the best forward option this week, but again there were only 4 of them. Averaging 103 for a price of 516 grand is a solid output, even if considerably more expensive than the start of the season, but Parker has been consistent so far for his 23,000 coaches and one of the few forwards to regularly perform this year. With the Swans bye still on the horizon however, not many will be bringing him in this week.
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]
<p style='margin-bottom: 0pt;]Jamie Elliott (COL) FWD 513k 98
Elliott is another surprise addition to the Best Buys, but with an average of 98 for the year to date is actually one of the better performing forwards around. He doesn't have the high ceiling that others can offer, but the youngster is consistently in the better performed players and has only 8,000 picks to his name. A risky pick, like many this week, but one that has now had his bye and with luck could see out the rest of the season amongst the better performers.
