Hi all, sorry I have not put up a thread in the main page this week.
I think this week the main trades are going to be focussed on replacing players who are out, so possibly related to team selection more than any time this year.

For forwards, those with Harvey and Petrie will be scurrying for cover, but the Boyd/Ablett likely to return in the middle should help, especially if MPP can be utilised.

The main concern I think this week could end up being Smith being rested with no Petrie in coverage for teams on the limit. I guess there are options to upgrade a ruck to someone like Mumford, but that takes 2 trades, and Im guessing thats not on the agenda of everyone (not with Petries imminent return).

The best ruck sideways from Smith arent great. West is there for Geelong (likely to be replaced by Ottens or at least see his score shrink), but Id say the battle for a week would be between Maric and Bailey. Both have fairly solid spots in their teams, with Maric scoring surprisingly well last week even though Jacobs is still the main banana at AAMI.

Dont think there are too many other good options. Possibly Vickery. The Tigers dont have the worst run home.
