30 September to 24th of February - Off Season trade period
27th Feb 2024 11:59pm Delistment Deadline
Provision 1 March 2024 7.00pm Start Dispersal & Preseason Draft
Tuesday 12th March 2024 List finalisation for 14th March season opening
1 June 2024 MSD Trade period opens
4 June 2024 - Teams finalised for State of Origin competition
17 June 2024 9:00pm Delist deadline
18 June 2024 7:00pm MSD starts
27 June 2024 Lists final for 2024 season pt 2
25th August to 24th of February - Off Season trade period... no point having a post and pre season... so I consolidated
25th August to 1st November - Open discussion with new threads by topic, followed by vote on any proposed change that has legs for the ORFFA "Rules" for the new season.
1st September - Official Presentation of trophy and flag to 2022 Premier.
15th September - Announcement of office bearers and tasks for 2023
**** Provisional 24th Feb 2023 11:59pm Delistment Deadline
**** Provisional 1 March 2023 7.00pm Start Preseason Draft - Wednesday night... for the party animals, only to try and take advantage of any pre season stuff to eyeball what 's I am going to recruit
**** Provisional 14th March 2023 List finalisation for 16th March season opening

 

We’ve got our mid season break starting in round 12, and we break for four rounds this year.

What are the dates for trade period and delists and draft etc?

When is AFL midseason draft? Will have to ensure what we do encompasses that.

 

If you bring forward all of last years dates by 2 days, then the trade period would open a day before the midseason draft as it did last year.

The only place to watch the 2024 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft is on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App. Gettable co-hosts and draft experts Cal Twomey and Riley Beveridge will lead the coverage along with host Nat Edwards and roving reporter Sarah Olle from 7pm AEST on Wednesday, May 29.
