This week with the GC having their bye, it means that all of us (except those who enjoyed Gazs 198 last week) will have a full compliment of stars to choose from-

So lets dive into this weeks Captains Choice.
    <!--more-->

    Judd vs Geelong

    Round 21, 2010: 75SC, 20 disposals
    Round 5, 2010: 143SC, 27 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 99SC, 27 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 116, 28 disposals

    Form: 121, AA Geelong: 105

Notes: Youd be suprised to note that Ling didnt play in round 21 last year, and with Scott musing that Ling will go to him, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

    Gibbs vs Geelong

    Round 21, 2010: 130SC, 26 disposals
    Round 5, 2010: 122SC, 28 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 106SC, 32 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 72, 21 disposals

    AA Geelong: 119

Notes: Hes got very solid record against the Cats, even though he took a knock last time they matched up, he still managed a 130. If his form were better, Id be telling you to lock him in!

    Chapman vs Carlton

    Round 21, 2010: 133SC, 33 disposals
    Round 5, 2010: 110SC, 28 disposals

    AA Carlton: 111

Notes: Played well against Carlton last year, starring in their round 21 win- but as with Gibbs, current form is an issue.

    Selwood vs Carlton

    Round 21, 2010: 110SC, 27 disposals
    Round 5, 2010: 98SC, 19 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 124SC, 28 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 80, 21 disposals

    Form: 131, AA Carlton: 110

Notes: Not a great history against the Blues, but not bad either. His latest saw him go head to head with Murphy while Ablett got the Tag. Still, his current formline is excellent.

    Montagna vs Melbourne

    Round 14, 2010: 155SC, 35 disposals
    Round 22, 2009: 155SC, 33 disposals
    Round 10, 2009: 146SC, 31 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 141SC, 20 disposals

    Form: 102, AA Melbourne: 152

Notes: Wow, what a formline against the Dees! Were they the same St. Kilda as last year, Id have no hesitation to say lock him in. With that though, I have a slight hesitation, but am more than happy to say- Lock him in! Hell be looking to save some face for missing last week.

    Sandilands vs Port

    Round 14, 2010: 121SC, 18 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 83SC, 13 disposals
    Round 11, 2009: 97SC, 20 disposals
    Round 17, 2008: 87SC, 15 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 133SC, 20 disposals

    Form: 131, AA Port: 100

Notes: His formline against the Power isnt great, but his 131 and Ports HOT ruck tick mean that Sandi cant be ignored!

    Mundy vs Port

    Round 14, 2010: 84SC, 16 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 103SC, 26 disposals
    Round 11, 2009: 104SC, 22 disposals
    Round 17, 2008: 113SC, 18 disposals
    Round 10, 2008: 52SC, 11 disposals

    Form: 127

Notes: Not historically a big ball winner against the Power, but remember- he has broken out this year. He was tagged well last year though, but by Cassisi- Kornes went to Hill.

    Swan vs Adelaide

    Round 21, 2010: 100SC, 28 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 122SC, 30 disposals
    Round 1, 2009: 100SC, 28 disposals
    Round 15, 2008: 79SC, 25 disposals

    Form: 102, AA Adelaide: 107

Notes: Tagged by Reilly last year, Swan really hasnt delivered against the Crows since becoming a superpremium. Tough to gamble against the Permacaptain, but it might be the week to.

    Pendlebury vs Adelaide

    Round 21, 2010: 104SC, 24 disposals
    Round 19, 2009: 96SC, 27 disposals
    Round 1, 2009: 116SC, 29 disposals
    Round 15, 2008: 85SC, 20 disposals

    Form: 114, AA Team: 105

Notes: Like Swan, hasnt really shown anything outstanding against the Crows, even though they were pretty poor last year.

    Goodes vs Hawthorn

    Round 19, 2010: 114SC, 26 disposals
    Round 10, 2010: 106SC, 13 disposals
    Round 11, 2009: 166SC, 23 disposals
    Round 2, 2009: 183SC, 21 disposals
    Round 15, 2008: 135SC, 27 disposals

    AA Team: 128

Notes: Wow, Goodes sure does know how to make ever disposal count against the Hawks with a pretty tidy SC/DT ratio of 1.28 over the past 2 years.

    Final Notes:
Alright, not a great selection this week, but if youve got him, you gotta take the risk on Montagna. If you dont have him though, Sandi then Swan are probably my next two choices...
