<p style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]My opinion: Last year in Round 15, Geelong struggled to beat Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium; managing to win by 14 points. Geelong had seven century makers led by Kelly with 148, Chapman with 141, Selwood with 116 and Bartel with 113. Steve Johnson missed the game. In Round 20 in 2011, Geelong thumped Gold Coast - 188 to 38. Geelong had eight centurions led by Steve Johnson's 155. Selwood managed 145 and Chapman rounded out the top three performers with 142. The first ever match up between these two clubs was Round 10 in 2011. In their 62 point victory, Steve Johnson again led the way with 162 whilst Selwood managed 136.

I expect Steve Johnson (average of 159) to have a huge game this round whilst a slightly rested Selwood (average 132) should continue to rack up the possessions. Johnson is averaging a career high 30 disposals a game this year and is coming off scores of 151, 123, 121 and 160 (average of 139).

<p style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]Carlton have only played Greater Western Sydney once - Round 6 last year. Despite winning by 67 points, only six Carlton players scored more than 100. An unlikely trio of Mitch Robinson (128), Paul Bower (122) and Shaun Hampson (115) led the way. Murphy was tagged out of the game by McDonald and only scored 89. Gibbs only managed 82. Walker finished on 100. Judd missed the game.

<p style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]A captain is not easy to pick this week. Ablett's scores against his former team are less than spectacular. Swan, despite his good numbers against Brisbane is struggling for form at the moment. Franklin also has a good record against Melbourne but, as shown by last week, can be very bad (see his first half) or very good (see his second half).

<p style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]This week, I find myself picking Ablett again. Despite his lean record against Geelong, I think that he will light it up back at his former home ground. Following him, it is impossible to ignore Steve Johnson's numbers. Selwood would be the next pick. Rounding out my top five, I would pick Pendlebury and then Swan.
