A great recent game against Port kicking 8 goals straight. He is in poor form at the moment coming off scores of He is coming off scores of 61, 100, 97, 124, 81 and 98 (average of 94).

Rd 1 2009: 79 SC points, 15 disposals
Average is 71 SC points with 16 disposals.
Note: Terrible average against Collingwood. He has been starring this season which may mean he attracts the Macaffer tag. He is in career best form at the moment with scores of 136, 141 and 150 (average of 142).
My opinion: Ablett is back after missing last week's game against Brisbane. Gold Coast are meeting Richmond in Cairns and they will have strong expectations of winning the game. Richmond, however, will still be hurting from last year's loss to the Suns at Cairns and will be looking to revenge. Hardwick has already spoken about possibly playing one of his guns head to head against Ablett or possibly using Jackson to tag him. Regardless, I still think that Ablett is the captain of choice this week.
Following Ablett, Joel Selwood should continue his recent hot form against Melbourne down at Simonds Stadium (Geelong's most recent winning margins against Melbourne have been 43 points, 186 points, 54 points and 46 points).
Next I would pick Pendlebury who is continuing to show us what a great user of the ball he is. He has been very consistent this season (only one score below 100 which was 96 back in Round 7) and should have a good game tomorrow night.
Next I would pick Josh Kennedy playing back at the SCG who should pick up lots of touches against the Giants. He was poor last week with only 96 SC points but this was because he wasn't kicking the ball. He had 12 clearances but had only 4 kicks to go with his 29 handballs. If he had managed to kick more often instead of handball, his score would have been through the roof.
Finally I would pick Swan who is finding a lot of the ball recently. If only he could improve his disposal efficiency …
Good luck all!
