My opinion: The game to monitor this week is the early 1:45 pm game between Gold Coast and Carlton at Metricon. The other game is the Collingwood and Greater Western Sydney game at the MCG later that afternoon at 4:40 pm. The question for most people this week will be Ablett v. Carlton or Pendlebury/Swan v. Greater Western Sydney.
Ablett's history against Carrazzo and Carlton is only average. Malthouse probably watched Ablett dominating Collingwood last week and will no doubt be doing everything he can to show the world that he can stop Ablett even if Buckley cannot. Malthouse will probably send Carrazzo to Ablett which has proved to be quite effective in the past for the Blues.
Pendlebury and Swan will both be hurting from last weeks' loss and are sure to have huge games against the rapidly tiring Giants.
Line ball decision between Ablett and Pendlebury this week. The time difference in their games allows us to utilise the loophole which is a plus. For me, I can't ignore Ablett who was back to his best last week. Following Ablett, I would pick Pendlebury, then Swan, then Barlow and then Griffen.
Good luck all!
