Since his return from injury he has only scored 86, 101 and 111 (average of 99).



My opinion: Ablett's recent form is very concerning. He is, however, playing a struggling St Kilda team. Despite their struggles, they still have a good tagger in Clint Jones. Ablett destroyed St Kilda in Round 1 this year and there is every chance he will bounce back against them this week at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The fact that he plays on Sunday gives us the perfect opportunity to utilise the loophole with some other favourites playing on Friday and Saturday.



For me, I would pick Ablett as captain. However, I will put the vice captaincy on Pendlebury for his Friday night game. After Pendlebury, I would pick Dangerfield, then Swan and then Selwood.
