Cow Bay is located in Tropical North Queensland, 116km or a 2 hour drive north of Cairns. A quaint area, it's near the Cape Tribulation area, the World-Heritage listed Daintree National Park, the Great Barrier Reef and Cooktown. The area has its' own grass airstrip, farms with locally made ice cream and tea, several small owner operated bed and breakfast eco lodges, crocodiles and box jellyfish during the summer months. It's not known then how the area became to be known as Cow Bay. One suggestion is that it is in honour of the cattle that has been lost over the years to crocodiles. Some farms border the river and farmers tend to believe it's more expensive to put up a fence to prevent cattle from getting too close to the river than it is to deal with a few losses during the year. Another, and more accurate, suggestion is that the name is in reference to the Collingwood supporters who are seen to holiday in the area whilst wearing the team's colours. Usually overweight and seen to be doing nothing most of the day except letting off gas, the local folk thought nicknaming the tourists zebras was a compliment and settled on cows instead. Local players take advantage of the picturesque beaches and use these as their training bases. The sand improves the fitness base, the salt water speeds up recovery from punishing training sessions. During training, players are extra focused on accurate passing lest they kick the ball into the water. The area is known for its salt water crocodiles and many local players have been lost trying to retrieve a ball from the sea. As a result, the Crocs are known for their disposal efficiency and quick reflexes. Cow Bay teams are built on precision passing and their ability to outrun opponents and expect to utilise these traits when competing in ORFFU.

Down to 25 players already! That sucks for you. I would feel sorry for you, but seeing as we play eachother in round 3 you'll just have to wait for my sympathy (that's going to come back and bite me isn't it???)

Haha, I'll hold you to that sympathy! dd can count himself lucky, Garlett was almost packaged up with Ablett instead of Crouch.
