So yes, our 2409 points, which was our best score for the year. Being ranked just outside the top 10,000 for the week was our third best weekly ranking for the year, and our current overall ranking of 22,601 is the best we've been all season, which unfortunately is a long way short of where we were aiming, but atleast we're on the rise!

So, how did we do it, with the following team:

    Backmen:
    Ibbotson 113
    Heppell 107
    Hanley 105
    Goddard 97
    Gibbs 69
Clisby 68 Emergency and Captains Loophole
    Midfielders:
Pendlebury 153 VC and Captains loophole 306
    J Selwood 133
    Ablett 120
    T Mitchell 113
    Cotchin 109
    Kennedy 107
    Griffen 76
    Dangerfield 70
    Ruckmen:
    Nicholls 121
    Naitanui 69
    Forwards:
    Rockliff 147
    Johnson 143
    Staker 111
    Zorko 80
    Kennedy 75
    Cox 70
    Bench:
    Webster 0
    Thurlow 0 Captains Loophole
    Vlastuin 66 Emergency
    Martin 0
    Rowe 100 Emergency
    Currie 0
    Westhoff 0
    Franklin 0

Some decent scores from our backline, with Ibbotson, Heppell, and Hanley topping the ton, and Goddard just missing out. Gibbs had a bit of a shocker with 69, only just outscoring Clisby on 68. No points from our bench, so no immediate lost points here.

In the midfield we were led by VC Pendles, who after scoring 153 was given the benefit of the loophole, and lead our side! He was followed by Ablett, Selwood, Kennedy, Cotchin and Mitchell all topping the ton, with Griffen and Danger in the 70's and an injury to the Dangermouse! Vlastuin and Martin were on the pine, with Vlas not beating any of our onfield players, and Martin not playing, we didn't lose any more points here either.

In the rucks, we had NicNat score a lowly 69, being well out shadowed by Nicholls on 121, nearly doubling his score! The unfortunate thing was Rowe was our bench emergency with 100 points to his name, outdoing NicNat by 31 points. Meanwhile Currie continues to be nothing more than wasted space.

Finally the forward line, where we had nearly $1M sitting on the pine, but still managed a quality score. Stevie J., Rocky, and Stakes, all did well, topping the ton, with the former two topping 140 points! Cox, Kennedy, and Zorko all scored between 70 and 80 points, which was a little below par, but still serviceable.

So as you can see, we had a pretty solid team this past week, with only 31 potential points being missed, and it was always very unlikely that we'd select Rowe over NicNat. Every other selection was spot on, including the captain.

We didn't end up trading for round 16, sticking with the team we had (partly due to me being really busy at work last Friday night, and missing the cut-off for the Pies game, when we were looking at Swan), and if we made the trade I think we would have only scored an extra 13-odd points.

On the leagues side of things we got the clean sweep, with five from five! We're now ranked 6th, 2nd, 4th, 2nd, and 2nd in out five leagues, so quite well entrenched in the finals, and some great possibilities to win the leagues.

Now, come and join us in the donors forum, to discuss where we go from here, who we want to trade, and which players deserve the chance to captain the donor team!
