    Hey Guys

Hope everyone had a merry Xmas and Happy new year and wish everyone who is invovled or knows people involved in the QLD floods all the best.

What a busy time the English Premier League is over Christmas, 4 league games over the space of 9 days very hectic. Man Utd still are heading the back with a good Xmas period where they gained 10 points out of a possible 12 and are still undefeated through 20 games. Cross town rivals Manchester City are 2 points back having played 2 extra games. With the new trasnfer window open Man City have splashed the cash and bought Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg for 27m pound, also have loaned out Wayne Bridge to West Ham for the rest of the season, they to took 10 points out of a possible 12. Arsenal sit 3rd another 2 points back on Man City with a game in hand having picked up 8 points in their last 4 games. Spurs occupy 4th meerly thanks to Chelseas great decline, although the Blues did win 7-0 against Ipswich the same team that beat the Gunners at home Thursday morning in the Carling cup. Sunderland are the big movers currently sitting in 6th. Other notable teams have Newcastle sitting 8th only 2 points away from sitting in the european positions. Blackpool just under them in 9th after being predicted to be worse then Derby County when they only scored 11 points in the prem a few season back. Liverpool currently only 4 point above the drop zone and sitting in 13th position and have recently signed Kenny Dalgleish. His first game in charge was a 1-0 loss to Man U in the Fa cup and now a 2-1 loss to Blackpool. not a very good start. The Villains are currently struggling bad and although they rescued a point in a 3-3 draw against Chelsea, which so far is my match of the season they are sitting in the relegation zone. 2 points seperate the bottom 7 teams so will have a very intersting relegation battle as well as title race.

    Gameweek 23 captain Material

Tevez - Man city at home against a weak Wolves team, be wary of the impact Dzeko could have though.

Fabregas/ Nasri - Gunners wont be happy after losing to Ipswich midweek against West Ham could quite possibly rack up a cricket score.

Man utd/Spurs - Risky one here, can see this being high scoring, so if you want a risk Nani, VDV, Berbatov, Bale could all be an option.

Malouda/Drogba/Lampard - Chelsea have been in very poor form of late but should easily account for Blackburn at home, the 3 i have mentioned have all done bugger all lately so beware.

    Key players status

Carrol - Stil a few weeks away

Sagna - will miss 1 PL game due to red card in last match

Paul Robinson - wont play but should have him on the bench as playing Chelsea

Scott Dann - out for 3 weeks maybe more with a hammy

    Ashley Young - Suspended

David Silva - likely to play this week

    Fabianski - 50/50
