A review on the transfer window and what it could mean to the Fantasy game and also the season ahead.
    <!--more-->

    Arsenal

Lost - Nasri, Fabregas, Bendtener, Glichy

Gained - Mertesacker, Santos, Arteta, Gervinho,Park,

Fantasy Relevance - Losing Nasri and Fabregas puts a massive creative whole in the side, Wenger bought players late and be very happy to snare Arteta right on the deadline. Players to watch Gervinho already been sent off as the gunners have had 3 reds in there first 3 games, but has the ability to score priced at 8.5 you already have or are better off getting Dzeko at that price. Mertasacker is a good defender but will he even be able to plug the hole that Arsenals defence leaks, Ill probs stay away. Santos is an attacking fullback could be a good buy if hes priced alright if your looking for a scorer down back. Park is a striker but doubt he will have any impact for fantasy. Arteta is an interesting one will slot straight into the vacant spot in midfield. He scores alot of goals from the spot but will he take Arsenals spot kicks?? RVP missing last week he may just well could be a smokey at his price.

    Aston Villa

Lost - Ashley Young, Downing,  Friedel, Luke Young

Gained - Shay Given, NZogbia, Hutton(loan), Jenas (loan)

Fantasy Relevance - Lost 2 gun midfielders but got NZogbia to replace one of the 2. Shay Given is a straight swap for Friedel. Jenas is a good get. PLayers to watch - AS we have already seen Shay Given staretd dirt cheap in VS and will be a good fantasy player all year as i rate him extremely high and in the best 5 GK in the league. NZogbia had a great year last year for Wigan and could be a good midpriced Mid in your side. Jenas and Hutton both defsinve minded so would stear clear of them unless Villa play Jenas in an advanced role.

    Blackburn Rovers

    Lost - EMERTON, Phil Jones

    Gained - Scott Dann

Fantasy Relevance - Dont know much about any of their other signings but Scott Dann is the only one of note, he was a good defender for Brum last season altough they got relegated, in a team that will finish pretty close to last Id be staying clear of any Blackburn players.

    Bolton Wanderes

    Lost - Elamnder, Al-Habsi

    Gained - Eagles, Reo-Coker, Ngog, Boyata(loan), Kakuta(loan) and Tuncay(loan)

Fantasy Relevance - Eagles had a good first game but struggled to make an impact in his last 2 games against City, and LPool, could be a cheap mid option. The 3 loanies, will they play to make an impact all decent players time will tell.

    Chelsea

    Lost - Zhirkov

Gained - Mata, Meireles, Vidal, Lukaku

Fantasy Relevance - Mata is going to be a gun after all the money they spent on him, they are compairing him to David Silva, Silva wa a slow starter in his first season in the prem, however Mata has already scored. Id wait and see before i jump on him. Meireles, I have no idea what role if any he is going to make, for Chelsea to spend 12m on him surely he will play a little, id steer clear though, Vidal is a holding mid so stay away and Lukaku is a future buy, think the kid is only 19 but has potential

    Everton

    Lost - Arteta, Beckford, J.Vaughen

Gained - Dier, Drenthe, Straqualasi(all on loan)

Fantasy Relevance - With Arteta gone that means blokes like Baines and Cahill will have to do more then what they already do. These 3 ins i have no idea about but heard Drenthe is a winger from Real Mardrid and Straqualsi is an Argentine born striker, some Everton mates are getting their hopes up on these 2 so well see how they go.

    Fulham

    Lost - Gera

    Gained - Riise

Fantasy Relevance - Another team i know little about but Riise could be a good sneaky option down back, he plays pretty much as a left back and has good ability to score so thats a player Id be keppering my eye out for

    Liverpool

Lost - Merieles, NGog, Cole, Poulsen, Kyrgiakos, Jovanvic, Koncesky

Gained - Bellamy, Adam , Downing, Enrique , Henderson

Fantasy Relevance - LPool have lost alot of fringe players however with the players out the players in are better. Adam has started of the season well and theres no reason why he cant be in your fantasy side. Downing also another big money move has started off well and cant go wrong there. Enrique is in alot of peoples teams and at 5.0 in the FPL game. Will be solid for clean sheets but cant see him scoring many goals/assists. Bellamy is handy backup but wont be a fantasy factor. Henderson is young so Id be staying away from him this season.

    Manchester City

Lost - Wright-Phillips, Boeteng, Given, Bellamy

Gained - Savic, Clichey, Aguero, Nasri, Hargreaves

Fantasy relevance - Bought some firepower in Nasri and Aguro and both have started off great, however i think Aguero is a bit pricey at 11m especially as hes playing behind Dzeko and not as the out n out striker. Nasri 3 assists first game could be a geat pick-up we all know how good he is. Clichey will rotate at LB with Kolarov so you be better off picking a permanent player instead of him. Hargreaves and Savic both back-up players so stay away.

    Manchester United

Lost - Wes Brown John Oshea and a handful of retirees

    Gained - De Gea, P.Jones, A.Young

Fantasy relevance - De Gea has been a popular choice for teams and will score some handy points, however he has made 3 blunders in 3 games so far so hes always prone to making the mistake, good cheap option in VS but look elsewhere in FPL. Ashley Young is almost a must have, has taken over Nani as the playmaker in midfield and has started of the season on fire, get him in if you can. Phil Jones is a handy players but im not sure hes in United best 11 but will play atm with their injuries.

    Newcastle United

    Lost- Nolan, Barton, Enrique

Gained - Obertan , Demba Ba, Santon

Fantasy Relevance- Who will step up in their midfield with Nolan and Barton out?? Obertan is a player with alot of potential so a player to watch. Davide Santon, is a fullback from Inter Milan with alot of promise, he is a player i will be definately be monitoring in the future.

    Norwich

Lost - Didnt sell anyone players they lost where all free or released

Gained - James Vaughen, Brad Johnson, Ayala

Fantasy Relevance - Fd if i know really havent watched them or heard much about them, a team that will struggle to stay up maybe look elsewhere.

    Queens Park Rangers

Gained - Wright Phillips, Barton, Traore, Bothroyd, Dj Campbell, Luke Young, A.Ferdinand

Fantasy Relevance - Some great buys in the last week at all dirst cheap prices. Bothroyd and Dj Campbell both gun scorers in the championship but can they perform in the prem league. Sad to see SWP leave City but dont blame him he doesnt get the chances he deserves he should light it up for QPR but im but worried bout his starting price in FPL. Luke Young is an attacking fullback so if QPR can get their defensive shit together he would be a serious look in . Barton we know what hes capable of and thats cards i wont be touching him with a 10 foot pole.

    Stoke City

    Lost - Faye, Gudjohnson

Gained - Woodgate, Upson, Palacios, Crouch, Jerome

Fantasy Relevance - Some handy ins Stoke have got there, Woodgate a solid defneder but hes had his injury worries, i took a gamble on him in VS and so far paying off. Big Crouchy gets another chanc eand Stoke who at the moment going better then Spurs should thrive in his new environment. Jerome striker who had a breakout year for Brum last season could be a player to monitor.

    Sunderland

    Lost -  Henderson, Ferdinand,  Malbranque

Gained - Elmo, Larson, Oshea, Brown, Gardner, Bentdner(loan)

Fantasy Relevance - Sunderland have bought well and have stregnthened their defence with 2 solid x-United players both whom represent good value if injury free. Craig Gardner is a smokey and has potential to score goals from midfield had a good year last year(Sick of saying all these ex birm players had a good year last year when they got relegated). Larson also has ability to score great goals eg round 1. Id be watching Sunderland very closely this year they will push top 6 and will see some of their stock rise up the fantasy ranks,

    Swansea City

    Gained - Lita, Routledge, Vorm

Fantasy Relevance - Vorm has shown what a great buy hes been from Uterect and looks a solid GK2, Lita is a young striker with alot of potneital not sure we will see it this year though, Routledge a mid from Newcastle not sure hell do enough to be fantasy relevant.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Out - Ohara, Woodgate, R.Keane,  Palacios, Crouch,

Gained - Modric(Its like a signing that they actually kept him), Friedel, S.Parker, Adebayor

Fantasy Relevance - with Keane and Crouch gone surely Adebayor will be the main man so he could be a handy get - not sure what his value is in FPL, Scott Parker is an interesting one the player is a gun and also will wait anxiously to see his price before i pounce

    West Brom

    Lost - Scott Carson

    Gained - Foster, Long,

Fantasy Relevance - Pretty much the same team as last year with a change of GK, they kept Odemwingie which will be great for them but cant really see any breakout players for them. Shane Long scored against Chelsea so could be one to watch.

    Wigan

    Lost - Nzogbia

    Gained - Al Habsi,

Fantasy Relevance - nothing on the trasnfer front but keep an eye out on Moses, Di Santo and Rodellga

    Wolves

    Lost - None of Note

    Gained - OHara, Roger Johnson

Fantasy Relevance - Ohara a smokey at 6m but there is better options out there

Any guys let me know what you think about the trasnfer window wrapping up are you happy with your clubs signings, any info and some of the players i dont know much about?? Anyway we got 9 days till the next lockout so guess we concentarte on the final week of Supercoach and give this a real crack afterwards.
