Midweek saw the reds take an away 3 nil loss to Man City with Tevez scoring a brace. that makes the braces for the round Tevez, Anelka, Kalou, Nolan, Gardner, Elmander, Bale & Hangeland (own goal :D) as well as hatricks to Carroll & Walcott. 22 goals from 10 players...WOW!

The 5-A-Side comp is firming up with Tooserious1 undefeated after 2 rounds and playing The Wenches this week. TossersRUs and TooSeriousTree are winless and TooSeriousToo are 1 and 1. This week, the Trees are playing top of the table Les Pommes De Terre, the Twos are having a crack at The Libertines, and the Tossers are going head to head with the Coonts Like A Hippos Yawn.

Last rounds results:
TooSeriousToo lost 3-2 with Elevation and UnderAchievers winning.
TooSeriousTree lost 3-1 with Tricky winning and MattyBomb22 drawing.
Tooserious1 won 3-2 with StKildaThunder, Gumby and Anthak winning.
TossersRUs lost 3-2 with Soups and NedFlanders winning.

For those who want to check <a href="http://www.fanfooty.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&amp;t=2031&amp;start=0#p48070">http://www.fanfooty.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&amp;t=2031&amp;start=0#p48070 will give you the results and the next weeks fixtures.

Shlocky from fanfooty.uk puts together a weekly video review of the results and it is hilarious and worth watching so here is GW 2 <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko5foyvm-_E">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko5foyvm-_E and here is GW 1 <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdHFppXwQOM">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdHFppXwQOM but a word of warning, dont watch this through speakers at work or with kids around... :)

So we all know Milners move was completed and he was BOG on debut for City but the big transfer news for this is one for all you Reds out there in that Alberto Aquilani has been loaned out to Juventus. He signed mid last season and has barely made an impact at Anfield. Alessandro Diamanti has signed for Brescia from West Ham United. Charles NZogbia might be off to Fiorentina Arsenal have signed Sebastien Squillaci. The Schwarzer deal is still on the cards for the Gunners while William Gallas has completed a move to Tottenham. Carlton Cole is being looked at by Liverpool while Dirk Kuyt is reportedly being looked at by Juventus.

Also, for all you Victorian based gOOners out there, the <a href="http://www.arsenalaustralia.com.au">Arsenal Australia club meets at the Celtic Club (corner of Queen St &amp; La Trobe St) in the city for most games (they have meets in other states as well) and there is a meet this week for the early kick off (9.45) away to Blackburn on Saturday night. I encourage anyone who wants to come down as there is a fantastic atmosphere and we have a great time. The venue is a dedicated Sporting Club which has massive screens with the sound loud. The management at the Club are really supportive and will often go the the extra yard to accomodate us by opening for those big special games in the early hours of the morning. Ill be there with bells on, nah not bells but a mix of Arsenal and Hawthorn gear, so get down there and support the Arsenal, sing a song, have a few pints and have some fun with us. Let me know if you plan on attending so we can catch up for a beer or two.

More over the break <!--more-->

Blackburn v Arsenal, 12:45 - Arsenal 3-0
Blackpool v Fulham, 15:00 - Fulham 1-0
Chelsea v Stoke, 15:00 - Chelsea 5-0
Tottenham v Wigan, 15:00 - Tottenham 2-0
Wolverhampton v Newcastle, 15:00 - 1 All Draw (but could go 2-1 to Newcastle)

Sunday, 29 August 2010
Bolton v Birmingham, 13:30 - 2 All Draw
Liverpool v West Brom, 15:00 - Liverpool 3-0
Sunderland v Man City, 15:00 - City 2-1
Aston Villa v Everton, 16:00 - Tough one, could go either way, but take Villa 2-1 at home

In IKTS, Banker chip on either Arsenal or Tottenham; Insurence chip on either Villa or Wolves.

Captain choice: Your guess is as good as mine...I think Fab and Rooney will score big this weekend, but the boys from Chelsea are hard to overlook.
