    Hello again EPL fans,

    What a weekend we had in the Premier League...Liverpool nearly split the points with Manure at Old Trafford after a brace from Stevie G, but a late strike from Berbatov completed his hat-trick and ensured the Red Devils came away with all 3 in this famous fixture, 3-2 the final score.

    Chelsea pummelled minnows Blackpool 4-0 at Stamford Bridge with Malouda scoring a double and Drogba netting one and setting another one up after Kalou opened the scoring in the second minute. Tottenham put 3 past Wolves at White Hart Lane in the last 15 minutes courtesy of Van Der Vaart (who is looking pretty good IMO), Pavlyuchenko & Hutton after Wolves went ahead right before the break with handy strike from Fletcher.

    Man City cruised to 2 nil victory away to Wigan Athletic with strikes from Tevez and Yaya Toure moving them up the ladder. Newcastle travelled to Goodisen Park where Ben Arfa scored on debut with an absolute cracker to silence the Everton faithful, while Tim Cahill watched from the terraces after being omitted from the squad all together.

    West Brom put 3 past Birmingham in the second half after going 1 down early in the Midlands derby, Fulham earnt a point at Ewood Park after a second half strike from Clint Dempsey levelled the scores after Samba put one past Mark Schwarzer in the first half. Bolton followed suit earning a point at Villa Park after being one down early on courtesy of a Ash Young strike and West Ham got there first point of the season after a strike from Scotty Parker (he is racking up a few of late isnt he...) was cancelled out by Kenwyn Jones just after the half time break.

    Continued over the break...<!--more-->

    So I think that is it for the week...have I missed anything? Oh, thats right...Arsenal travelled to the Stadium of Light and after a freak piece of luck from Fabregas, Sunderland managed to take a well earned point away against a 10 man Arsenal outfit with a strike deep into injury time from Darren Bent, after a poorly cleared ball from the Arsenal defence and a missed penalty courtesy of Thomas Rosicky earlier in the game. I have to buy a new television after mine met an untimely fate and was launched out the window - I also need a new window :lol:

    So after 5 rounds, The Russians are on top of the summit undefeated having knocked off what will be the bottom 5, but it will be interesting few weeks with a couple of tough fixtures coming up for Chelski. Arsehole sit behind them after dropping points in injury time against Sunderland, with Manure behind the Arsehole on goal difference after a lucky escape against the Reds, with Man Shitty and the Yids rounding out the top 5 after both teams posted good wins.

    Banker on Arsenal, insurance on Blackpool. FPL captain has to be either Malouda or Drogba although, Arsharvin could score a few with Fab out.

    Our mates over at fan footy in sunny Ingerlund have put together a 2 part video review this week - remember to watch it when the kids are asleep. Needless to say most of us got a pounding this week other than the 2s who won 5-0 with a couple of tight ones in there.

    Remember to check back Saturday morning for the full injury update, best value buys in the VS comp, and extended game previews courtesy of our friends at the BBC.

    I should probably also apologise for my blatent bias towards the mighty Arsenal FC, but meh :lol: till next week.
