I think both teams could have the up curve put next to their names as both have been subpar for quite a few years (even though Dons fans will say we made the 8 in 09 realistically they lost more than they won - a LOSING season)

In other news...well catch it over the break<!--more-->
Robbie Gray takes to the stage tomorrow night in the Alice Match that the Tigers feel obliged to play. He isnt aboriginal, mores the pity, but he is praying to the injury gods that he can capitalise on his decent preseason. Im sorry Robbie, there are no injury gods. On that note, Travis Boak is back in for a run which will be instructive. He polled well in the Brownlow last year which means the umps love him, and thats a good thing for Free Kick For SuperCoach points.

Other than that,  Darren Jolly isnt playing because Im sure the Pies need to have a better look at Cam Wood and Lachlan Keefe. No injuries there, though.
Walesys already mentioned the Swans want to be more defensive this year, saying they want to copy the Pies box. Well I just thought the rules were as Yabby Jeans said "weve got it, theyve got it or its in dispute" and if theyve got it get it back, and if its in dispute win it. Not rocket science coming from the Constable.

Finally Brian Lake playing in a VFL practice match just before R1 may not mean much to the cookie cutters who have already submitted their defences to the group think sessions here, but it does to me. Lake was a premium last year and could be again if fit.  And DEF premiums are rare unless they are coupled with MID.
