Back after a hiatus of almost a month which involved everything from being too busy at work, bad colds, malfunctioning computers and (ongoing) World Cup 'commitments' to looking for and buying a house. With most of that out of the way (hopefully), it is time to get back to the HindSight SuperCoach analysis.
The season has finally reached the point where the total number of trading spots (2-3 per round) exceeds to allowed total number of trades for the season (30). The final and very important piece of the SuperCoach strategy puzzle. Not surprisingly, the first trading spot to be left unused is in round 2 - we'll have to see how this evolves over the next weeks until the end of the season as the number of unused trading spots increases.

Notable:

<li>Malceski is in - first appearance in any line-up and staying in as well - consistency with big scores in rounds 11 and 15 are paying off.</li>
<li>Pendlebury, having made a number of appearances before, is also in and staying in - enough big scores to warrant the premium gun price tag. Ablett of course being the other premium gun who is in from the start and staying.</li>

Notable:
12 out of 48 players (25%) involved in trades have been traded in and out (as opposed to just out or just in). Maybe a little peace of mind for those who have had to come back on a trade that paid off in the short run but not in the longer run? Guess catching purple patches is a skill (or just plain luck).
