I am not one to start rumors unnecessarily, but a friend close to the Hawks camp says Hodge is really struggling with his achilles still. I for one have him in my team and will be happy if he keeps punching out 115.

    Anyone heard anything of sorts?

He has said it himself it still troubles him from time to time.

Welsh will tag him tonight and has done a good job on him in the past.

The key to Hodge scoring is him doing his key work when Hawks make their move. A bit like Judd does at Carlton.

The issue is if Hawks win easily he struggles again a bit like Judd as compared to Murphy.

I think he will punch out about 100 ppg from here on, no more.

Happy with 114 in a bit of a GC like performance from Essendon...how the shoe is now on the other foot.

He looked fine from what I saw of the game and his penetration from both sides of the body didn't look hindered up until the first 10 mins of the 3rd Q.

I resisted the extra 30k cash to pick S.Thompson ahead Hodge, time will tell who i should've picked
