I've got Goodes, and I've used up a lot of trades early getting rid of duds to get in decent Rookies who are actually playing, and I already had to trade Fyfe out, so I really have to hang onto every trade I can from now on.

Everyone's talking like you definitely have to trade Goodes out, but I think I can get away with keeping him on the pine for 6 weeks and taking a punt that he'll be roaring to go and come out with big scores when he returns.

So what are everyone's thoughts, how many weeks does a player have to be out for you to say, "yep, definitely gawn"?

Is sitting him on my bench for 6 weeks and saving a trade a viable option as long as I have cover? Especially considering one of his weeks out will be a bye round, its really only 5 weeks he's out.

    For me:
    2 or less - hold
    3 - depends
    4 or more - trade
