No doubt in the same boat as most in here, with the extreme lack of rookies playing rd 1.
So, as above the saviour for our rd 1 teams seems to be the Port Adelaide football club. It's just a little scary looking over your list and discovering that I am currently running with 6 PA players... and that's after I swapped a couple out!
Currently running with Pittard, Stevenson and Heath in the backs (with Frost from Coll - who may become O'Shea!) then Mitchell and Wines in the mids and then Neade in the forwards...
The simple reality is that I just can't see any price comparable replacements...
So... How much Port can I have before I am too much under the influence?!

The only first choice defender due back for Port is Carlile who wasn't risked this week due to hamstring tightness at training during the week. More at risk would be Neade when Robbie Gray comes back - Gray was originally expected to be held back until about round 4, however his efforts in SANFL trials over past 2 weeks could see him back by round 2 (especially after his 25 disposal,3 goal performance last weekend in 3/4 game time). But it would be hard to drop Neade if he comes out this week and shows some spark and plays well.

I have 4, but one is my breakout back hope, I have Hartlett, Wines, Stevenson & Pittard.

I'm loading up on the Port rooks. Why not? It's too hard to play Nostradamus to pick which other rookies will get a game. Can you gamble on Docherty, Terlich or another non-playing rookie playing consistently in the next couple of weeks? I'm gambling that if/when they do play, these Port rookies will have mooed.

I reckon all of the posts above make sense, if you want to port overdose you might be running to 7 including Hartlett, for me it will probably be 4 perhaps 5 !

My issue with port rookies is which one to field each week in the backline... got 3 to pick from! :)

My guess is that Pittard > Stevenson > Heath in terms of SC scoring. Bit of a guess though!

Decisions have been made... Pick 'em all!
Obviously, the vests (red and green) will probably hit scores doing this, but I figure it will just spread out the optimal mooing time for the rookies. Allowing me to up and downgrade at the right time over a few weeks.
Will see how that pans out!
