Can we use this thread to post updates of the intra-club games. For examples Gunston booted 4 today. Seb Ross looked solid. Hayes got through not injured at least
Saints Report that ive done can be found here - http://tsjournal.net/2012/02/10/st-kilda-2012-intra-club-report/ Basically though: Cripps - lock him in your forward line. Played off backline & through middle. Then snuck forward to kick goal. Lenny - Got through unscathed and looked really good. Milera - Could possibly get gig ahead of Saad, although Saad was good. Seb Ross - This kid is impressive. Goal he kicked on run from bout 40 out just oozed Dal Santo/Pendlebury. Pin point left foot.
Any news out of tigerland? Their twitter account didn't have much. Thanks for all the Saints info thunda! I'm really keen to see what cripps can do this year if he gets through uninjured and I really hope Seb Ross can force his way into the team. Good to hear Milera went well as he was in a moonboot not too long ago. It will be interesting to see who gets the gig at FB. Wilkes suits my SC team better but just not sure yet if he can actually play! Go Saints!
If Buddy plays on ball consistently you can give them the cup now. Apparently Rioli has been absolutely smashing training too. Dare to dream seeing both of them in the middle?
Geelong has said they won't be having any intra-club practice matches during the preseason, just match practice during training sessions. Guess that means waiting until the NAB cup to see how & where guys will be lining up, as generally the news from training sessions is minimal.
Balla started slowly in his new midfield role, but started to warm to the task in the second half. Still a risk at about $390k though.
Le Cras is gone for the year. Hunt was arguably the best player on the ground as he showed great composure to go with his usual attack at the contest. From the AFL. McQualter is set to have a blinder and is one of there leaders and Dixon is set to play like roughead
I think he played in the B team in their scratch match and nobody has said anything great about his performance. Im starting to get worried about him and ATM he's not worth the extra 20k over some other rookies.
Yeah, news on Horsley has been scarce. The best thing I've read so far is "Horsley got through unscathed"... If it wasn't for his 28possesion 138sc average in the WAFL last year he wouldn't even be on anyone's radar! Hopefully he steps up in there nab cup games.
