Dont think its been covered, and if so i apologise. But whats the thoughts on Selwood this weekend? Was concussed against the Lions and from what i gather did not train at all this week and is named on the pine. Sounds fishy to me! We have had so many late withdrawals already to fantasy relevant players and i hope he doesnt become another one but its looking more and more likely he will be. Does anyone expect him to play? Geelong have a history of pulling people out/giving them a rest the week after a head knock(Bartel and Selwood last year just of recent times).
Will prob avoid the C but he should play seeing he played out the game against Brisbane fine. Emg is coniglio and I think he is getting better each week. Would have scored 80-90 last week if he didn't get subbed
wouldn,t be surprised if christensen misses too, a couple of heavy hits recently.MORE CARNAGE !and if lycett is named emg i would get really nervous!
It would mean ablett and selwood on the bench but also have cover with coniglio. I wouldnt put the C on him anyway this week, i know he usually beats up on melbourne but will most likely get the magner tag if he does play, while all his teammates do as they please munching on the 3300 pie
After the surprise let off from the MRP, if Selwood misses here, how funny. To be a fly on the wall at Geelong meetings... Chris Scott, the pioneer & master of resting the guns last year... "Here is this years rotation schedule, Matthew, you're scheduled for an early spell, feel free to snot someone, Joel, we have you penciled in to have round 6 off...." lmao
I think u r spot on Fidel with that reading of events, Joel's probably just spewing he didn't land a dececent 1wk blow that would've wiped out his carry-over points. I think we can also make a few other assumptions: 1. Chris Scott plays SC & was trying to warn other SC players that Joel wasn't going to play this week by naming him on the bench. 2. Chris Scott has Joel in his side & a decent emergency player. 3. I'm too stupid to know when I'm about to be slapped in the face by a carp that died last week. I read the comment you made a day or so ago regarding this matter & thought you may be right, but....... Goodbye league matches this week & goodbye season. Lesson learnt!!!
