Good to see Eddie is helping our case.

Helping by saying 'don't play him' really will make Geelong play him.

Good for all teams with Selwood

I hope he plays as he is in my team, but at the same time wont it be ridiculously easy for his 14 mouth stitches to get knocked open and then him a) have a crap score and b) miss the week after?

Stitches in the mouth heal pretty quickly, I'd say he'll have them removed just before they fly out.

He'd be bloody unlucky to cop a knock to the same spot again too.

    C'mon Selly, we need you!

With the upmost respect for Selwood,
I hope they put him in as the sub. Last weeks low score plus this weeks low score should make him a relative bargain pickup next week for those of us who dont have him yet. The timing is beautiful. Trade out a midpricer , or an early rising cash cow, to pick up Selwood before round 3.
After the round 1 score he is showing as dropping in value by 155k. if this continues for round two, it would make him a 418k pick up.

Reckon he could play half the game.

More likely to be subbed off if they do the same thing as they did in the Semi Final.

Bang bang 8 up at quarter time then Selwood can have a breather.

Hopefully he's already racked up 90 points by then.

If he is not right to play a full game he won't go across.

Hope they play him for only last quarter or something... that way his price will drop waaay down in round 3 and i will trade him in!

Hope they leave him out !!. And I have him. Rather that than have his score drop so all the Vultures can pick him up cheap. Rest this week then 140,140 will be back on track.

anyone worried about selwood and the new concussion rule he does duck into tackles a lot. he gets in there and is in prime ko positon a lot as witnessed last week. imo he could easily miss chunks of games this year to his head having a target on it but by all means get on lol.

yes simonoz straight on the field. The last thing you want is to keep him on the bench and watch him score 130+ :)

At least we will know before lockout. He needs to fly today to play so just wait for the news on that.

Yep just wait until 5pm for the full teams to be released. If he's named you just have to play him.
