Sorry about last week everyone (particularly Spud), but I didnt do too well anyway so no real harm done. We now have more of  a form line for this year than a form dot, so the real tipping can begin! Tips in bold as usual.

    Friday April 16
West Coast v Essendon at Subiaco Oval, 6.40pm Top Scorer: Daniel Kerr, 143

The Weagles may not have won a game, but at Subiaco against an opponent they usually easily defeat at this ground, should win easily. Essendon was fired up last week, but theyre skills were still terrible and will be sliced apart on Subiaco.

    Saturday April 17
North Melbourne v Sydney Swans at Etihad Stadium, 2.10pm

Im a bit behind, so this seems like a good match to catch up. Swans are 2-1, nearly beat the Saints, and should beat the struggling North. Seems to be stop Harvey, stop North, and the Swans are still the best in the business at shutting down players.
Adelaide v Carlton at AAMI Stadium, 2.40pm

Firstly, welcome back Juddy! Carlton will need his foot skills after last weeks display. Adelaide have been simply terrible, have added a few new injuries to the list and may be playing others sore. Despite their good record at AAMI against the Blues, Ive got to tip Carlton.

Collingwood v Hawthorn at the MCG, 7.10pm

Collingwood will want to do better after last weeks game, which was widely insulted in the media. They will rejoice at the suspension of Buddy Franklin (23 goals in last 4 games against the Pies) and Jolly/Fraser will have a field day against Renouf. Hawthorn normally play well against the Pies, but all the signs point to a Magpies win.
Brisbane Lions v Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, 7.10pm

The undefeated Lions have a chance to show how much of a premiership chance they are against the Bulldogs. The question will be who goes to Brown, with Lake likely to be used deeper on Fev. The Bulldogs have won 4 of their last 5 Gabba games, so dont be put off by that, but I think the Lions will show their class and take home the 4 points.

    Sunday April 18
Richmond v Melbourne at the MCG, 1.10pm

Melbourne was good against the Pies and Crows, but I just cant back them in to beat Richmond. Richmond may still be on 0, but this is their chance to win and after all the controversy this week with Connors, Cousins & co, will be eager to win.
Geelong Cats v Port Adelaide at Skilled Stadium, 2.10pm

The Cats should easily beat the Power, especially at Skilled. They welcome back a litter of star Cats, and a side like Geelong doesnt lose two weeks in a row.
St Kilda v Fremantle at Etihad Stadium, 4.40pm

It amazes me that people are still talking up the Dockers to beat the Saints. The Saints are not just about Nick Riewoldt, and are masters of putting on pressure, which the Dockers traditionally crack under. In addition, Etihad Stadium is the Saints fortress and the Dockers nightmare, and Im tipping the Dockers will be a little sore after last weeks hard game against the Cats. Saints to win again.

    Captaincy tips-

    Relton Roberts. :p
