Was benched for me anyway but wouldve prefered Clay Smith or even leaving Stevens in, who'll get a run for the Eagles @home v Melbourne next week.

I was going to do the same thing or better yet ditch coniglio and bank 80k, Might wait until next week though give them 1 more week to impress before making what could possibly be pointless trades.

Ledger gave me a donut in DT. I had Giles as emergency I didn't have an emergency in the midfield so there was no one to cover him. I had Clay Smith and Magner on the bench.

Thanks for the update SKT. May indicate he will need to be managed through the season for his general soreness. A rotational vest candidate with the likes of Cripps, Milera and possibly Ray?

Don't make any calls on rookies till at least they play this week. Making assumptions on 1 weeks performance is craziness.

It depends on how many correction trades you need to make. If for example you need to make 3 you'll have to start this round to get them done before the first price rise.

not necessarily SCSS, their club's selection panel may push them into the magoos for "further education"

Don't do correction trades before the start of R2.

I hate the thought of correction trades after only R1 because there are so many risks associated with it and not enough evidence to make an informed decision. Imagine if the correction trade rookie you bring in gets the vest or spuds it up in R2 and gets dropped in R3. You may be forced to do a correction trade on a correction trade.

and it'd be cool to have to do another correction trade on top of that TN !

It's got to depend on how big a risk taker you are. If you do that correction trade before round 2 that player could score you 40 more points than the other player. If that player turns out to be good and the other one turns out to be bad, it would be a great trade and you've got 40 points on everyone else. I wouldn't do this though as I think it's too big a risk.

It's hilarious how one poor round score makes people question 2 months of research.

Almost took Smith but switched to Tom Ledger just in time (for disappointment).

Can't believe that there has been no solid confirmed news or club reports this week regarding Ledger's status. Hopefully it was just "general soreness" BS and he will be back in round 2. Guess I don't have long to find out. Not convinced on Smith yet, so no sideways for me before round 2 is completed.

The club has said he pulled up sore from training Friday/Saturday. Not sure how much confirmed people want. They didn't want to risk him.

BTW according to twitter Clay Smith. Might miss this week.
