What are your thoughts on Luke Parker (mid) from Sydney. Mid pricer at $282,400 but with a good NAB Cup run there are some predictions of a break-out year for him. Trying to decide whether to include him.

NAB Cup scores have fooled in previous years. Suggest you don't get sucked in to mid-priced madness based on NAB form.

If you would have selected him regardless of his NAB scores, then go with that. But to base selection just on NAB scores wouldn't be a great idea.

Cheers. I took him out the other day and haven't replaced him.

Parker's parked in my midfield in the hope of a breakout year. He is at a good price to upgrade with a rookie to a premo later in the season. That's the plan anyway.

I have him as well. Got a taste of footy last year with about a dozen odd games. Average about 50 ppg. Good preseason and is built like a Mack truck. Should suit a hard tackling stoppage side like Sydney and get you some points on tackles. Hoping his average can shift up to at least 80 early on with view to upgrade him.

Wouldn't have him as a main stayer. Unless of course he really breaks out.
