Finding value for your dollar is one of the biggest part of fantasy football. As we know, snagging that mid-pricer that takes off, or that rookie that is going to play out of his skin and deliver you both points and profit are the keystones to any good team.
One way to track this value is through the NAB cup. Yes, teams do play their kids more through the NAB cup, but to view which kids take their chances when they are given, and which don't can really help in selecting your team.

At pick 48, Dean Kent won the Jack Clarke Medal for the WAFL Colts last season. Disposal efficiency has never been his strong point, but getting the ball has been. Perhaps more of a DT player than SC, you'd want to wait before bringing him in.
Kyle Martin is a mature aged rookie who last year played at Frankson. Kyle had a fantastic season, averaging 26 disposals per game, 115SC and finished the season as Frankson's Best and Fairest. Do beware though, he is still on the Rookie list, but if he is upgraded by round 1, I reckon you jump on.
Port Adelaide really look to be a goldmine this year, and Jake Neade looks to be another potential piece of gold coming out of the mine. With the sheer lack of forward rookie options, Neade could easily find himself a place on your bench.

Of course, not all scores are equal, and some players obviously had less time on ground than others. So, to balance that factor, I've rounded up everyone's score if they were to hypothetically play 100% time on ground

Martin and Kent essentially find themselves switching place here, but it's DAW and Currie who really move up the list. Obviously, they both cut into each others game time a bit, but on the other side, they both did a very good job of it. Sure, Maric didn't play, but Jamar certainly isn't any slouch.

First up is Tayte Pears, who got a fair bit of it against the Pies, racking up 11 touches. That said, there were 5 clangers in there, which will destroy his SC rating.
Anthony Miles was an absolute ball magnet this weekend, had 14 touches against Carlton and looks primed to breakout if he can continue that form into the season proper.
Meanwhile KARNEZIS put in a fantastic game against the Hawks, spending the vast majority of the game through the midfield. This is exactly the kind of move that we want when looking for a player to break out, so keep an eye on this space peoples.

And finally, stretching out those points across 100% Game time.

Pears finds himself moving well down the list, simply because he played 100% of the game, so finds himself with no upwards adjustment.
Johncock finds himself moving well up the list, kicking 3 goals in 63%TOG, but it's the kind of return I wouldn't bank on- he's well past his prime fantasy days.
Meanwhile, Aidan RILEY but in two solid games on the weekend, which we'll want to keep an eye on, but I have a feeling that he's still a bit away from cracking the best 22 at Adelaide
