Round 13 saw the Glow Worms go into the game missing captain and B&F leader P.Cripps, and whilst the team just fell short there are plenty of positivies to come from the game, with some fringe players stepping up in a big way. And young Harry Perryman getting on the board.

    Round 13
    5 - Sam Gray
    4 - Anthony Miles
    3 - Isaac Heeney
    2 - Touk Miller
    1 - Harry Perryman

    Round 14
Macquarie Island Whales 1339 def Mole Creek Glow-Worms 1241

Valiant effort by Mole Creek and an incredibly even performance saw them take the fight to the Whales before falling short. Exciting signs with all the young kids scoring well and let down by the veterans ultimately.

    Charlie Curnow - 5
    Majak DAW - 4
    Brayden Fiorini - 3
    Hugh McCluggage - 2
    Christian Petracca - 1

Exciting and promising end to the season, with the Glow Worms going down but still posting a promising score. Matt Scharenberg stepped up for his first ever vote and under a new coach next season will hopefully solidify his place in the squad.

    Round 15

    5 - Brodie SMITH
    4 - Anthony Miles
    3 - Charlie Curnow
    2 - Sam Petrevski-Seton
    1 - Matthew Scharenberg

Round 1 saw Mole Creek host the number one team in the comp, whilst showing some fight the Boozers ended up taking a reasonably easy win 1339 to 1184.

Lots to be proud of from Mole Creek, with new coach Clint Bizzell highlighting the young midfield winning the battle against the experienced Boozers outfit as a huge plus.

Hayden Crozier looks set to miss some time, but with Sean Darcy and Tom Nicholls emergencies on the weekend either may come in to the squad. Hard to see to many other changes to the team although Ethan Hughes, Harry Perryman, James Aish and Matt Scharenberg will be looking to make a push into the underwhelming defence.

    Round 1 MVP Voting
    5 - Patrick Cripps
    4 - Charlie Curnow
    3 - Touk Miller
    2 - Isaac Heeney
    1 - Jack Graham

The General Manager returned back to the club this week after a long sunny junket. Pleasantly surprised with the form of the club recently, the club is looking to continue improving and get more games into it's youngsters under the guidance of coach Clint Bizzell.

    MSD update
A quiet (by Mole Creek standards) mid season trade and draft period saw the departures of Sam Gray, Nathan Hrovat, Sam Hayes and Kieran Lovell replaced by Jayden Short, Jordan Cunico, Jack Henry and Scott Jones.

Mole Creek had started the season strongly at 1-1 after new club president Terry Wallace had unveiled the clubs new 3 year plan in the preseason. But the team has been devastated by injuries in the early season and coach Clint Bizzell's off season worries about the potholes on the Mole Creek training ground may have been well founded. He will be hoping a few of the youngsters can press their claims for a spot this week with nearly a third of the list doubtful or unavailable.
    • Jayden Short Elbow Indefinite
    • Harry Perryman Lung TBC
    • Izak Rankine Hamstring 2-4 weeks
    • Corey Ellis Ankle 5-6 weeks
    • Jack Henry Hamstring Test
    • Jordan Cunico Ankle 12-16 weeks
    • Sean Darcy Quad Test
    • Charlie Curnow Knee 1 week
    • Zac Bailey Hamstring 4-6 weeks
