306k and a 3 week injury that could be longer. Both the dollars to play with and the injury itself are difficult to deal with.

But, thats what were here for.

    So, what to do?

It depends a lot on your cash situation. Those who traded Raines down in the past, might just have found their silver lining... ;)

Ill deal with Skippy the forward first.

    If you can afford it...
    <!--more-->
And you feel you *must* trade this week- BOOM!er.

With upcoming games against Richmond and collingwood, things might be looking up for the little guy.
Though those first few rounds are concerning... But surely 520k is too good to pass up on!

If however, youve got bench coverage and are willing to wait a week, then a world of possibility opens up.

Three high end players are hemmoraging. And it will only take one good game to stop that. Namely,

Deledio (A decent game will see him priced at roughly 480k)
    Franklin (470k)
OKeefe (480k) - With games against Fremantle, Richmond and WCE over the next 4 rounds... might just be a goer this round...

Once we limit your salary to 300k however, things get uglier. In fact, it would be poor form on my part to suggest trading down to anyone at this point in time.
    (Particularly if youve got coverage!).
To the desperate though. Rumour has always had it that Sidebottom would be debuted on Anzac day... perhaps?
Maybe Nahas? or Wade? - But then, theyre are both ugly UGLY options.

So there you have it. All in all, if you cant get an underperforming gun. Dont move him out yet.

    Next up- Skippy the Mid.

While not many people would have gone this way, the few that did would be slightly relieved (My DreamTeam team says hi!)

Coverage with the Mid rookies are a lot tastier than the forwards with Beams, Rich, Otten, Dangerguy and to a lesser extend, Robinson running around.

So the emphasis for MUST TRADE NOW! would be lower.

That said, if you must trade now(TM), then here we go.

Boomer Harvey - ;) - Dont do it. If youre gunna grab Boomer at any stage in the year, get him as a forward.

Alright, I know I might get a little guff for this one, and its my obvious bias showing through... but.
Brett Stanton. Dropping off a 65 this week could bring his rolling average up to 120. With games against Collingwood, Brisbane, Hawthorn, St Kilda and Richmond coming up (Holds a 100+ average against Brisbane, Hawthorn and Richmond)
    Might be worth a look-in.

If you can wait a week however, you can check the form of the following underperformers.
    S. Thompson. - Was a gun last year, and surely will improve.
    S. Black - A proven SuperCoach gun who is working himself back into form after a Pre season injury.
    J. Bartel - Bartel! Its Bartel! :D

Or, looking at a cheaper option...
Sadly, again, because of Skippys awkward price range, I wouldnt recommend any sideways trading... however, Barham is looking the goods at the moment, and *might* be worth the risk.
(Though that said- you do know the risks of picking up a player before being named for a third...:p).

All in all, if you have coverage, I would suggest holding off on trading this week. But if you must trade, then trade up.
